The 2002 Gujarat riots are still remembered as one of the most successful media stories for left-liberals. The last attempt to keep Gujarat 2002 riots alive got buried as Supreme Court has upheld SIT’s decision to give a clean chit to PM Modi in the case. Though PM Modi didn’t say a word after the verdict yesterday, but Amit Shah minced no words and dropped multiple bombshells during an interview with ANI.
“I saw PM Modi suffering,” says Amit Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke about the verdict yesterday. He revealed just how the liberals and the opposition made PM Modi suffer. He informed that he had closely seen Prime Minister Narendra Modi suffering through all of it.
Explaining how PM Modi had suffered for the last 19 years, Shah added, “A tall leader fought this for 18 to 19 years without saying a word and braving all the pain like ‘vishpaan’ of Lord Shankar…I saw him suffering through this very closely. Only a strong-willed person could’ve taken stand to not say anything as the case was sub-judice.”
In a savage manner to slap those who do not abide by the constitution, Shah stated that PM Modi has set an example by showing just how the Constitution should be honoured. He also added that those who accused him of the involvement in the riots should apologise.

He was questioned but nobody staged dharna & workers didn't come to stand in solidarity with him…If those who levelled allegations have a conscience, they should apologise," HM on 2002 Gujarat riots. pic.twitter.com/K2UymZDAth

He did not stop there and went on to further take a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Rahul is being questioned by the ED in the National Herald case while the Congressmen are protesting, demanding the interrogation to be stopped.
He said, “Modi ji didn’t do drama while appearing before SIT – come out in my support, call MLAs-MPs & stage dharna…If SIT wants to question CM, he himself is ready to cooperate. Why protest?”
SC’s upholds its decision clean chit to PM Modi
Gujarat riots had all that the liberal media and opposition needed for a successful anti-BJP and anti-Hindu agenda. A Hindu nationalist CM, the resurging BJP, and communal violence, which is anyways believed by them to be against minorities.
The opposition, liberals and anti-India elements kept the riots alive to attack the saffron party and the Hindus. But yesterday, in a huge relief to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Supreme Court dismissed the appeal by Zakia Jafri, wife of Congress MP Ehsan Jafri, challenging the clean chit given by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). For those unaware, Ehsan Jafri was killed during the 2002 post-Godhra riots.
Gujarat riots 2002
27th February 2002 was a day which shook India to its core. Sabarmati Express which runs between Ahmedabad and Varanasi had made its scheduled stop at Godhra Junction at about 7.45 AM, four hours behind its schedule. A mob attacked the train, and due to this heinous act, 59 innocent people including 27 women and 10 children were burnt to death. The 59-innocent people were devotees of Bhagwan Rama or kar sevaks.

The incident acted as a trigger for the now infamous 2002 Gujarat riots. As per the official figures, the riots ended with 1,044 dead, 223 missing, and 2,500 injured. Other sources estimated death tolls in excess of 2,000.
However, yesterday’s SC verdict came as a huge relief for PM Modi. Moreover, it is a tight slap for those who have been trying to defame PM Modi over the riots.
