Indian author and screenwriter Durjoy Datta is well-known for his coffee-table novels about the love lives of young Indians. While still in college, he wrote his debut book, “Of Course, I Love You,” which was published. He didn’t turn around again after that. Career
While still a college student, Durjoy Datta’s debut book, Of Course I Love You! (co-authored with Maanvi Ahuja), was published by Srishti Publishers in 2008. His second book, Now That You’re Rich!, was published in August 2009.
She Broke Up, I Didn’t!, his third book, was published in the summer of 2010. During the winter of 2010, he spent four months writing his fourth book in Europe. The book, Ohh Yes, I Am Single!, was co-written by Durjoy Datta and Neeti Rustagi and primarily drew inspiration from Durjoy’s life.
He co-founded Grapevine India Publishers in 2011 after receiving his degree from MDI, Gurgaon. Grapevine India Publishers released his fifth book, You Were My Crush!, in September 2011.
On the Hindustan Times Bestseller list, it reached No. 3. His sixth book, If It’s Not Forever!, was published on February 1 and was influenced by the blasts that occurred in Delhi High Court in September 2011. The Hindustan Times placed the book at No. 6 when it first came out. Till the Last Breath… was published the same year. On the Hindustan Times Bestseller list, it debuted at No. 3.
Short biography and education of Durjoy Datta
Durjoy Datta was raised in New Delhi but was born on February 7, 1987, in Mehsana, Gujarat, to Bengali Hindu parents. After completing his education at Pitampura’s Bal Bharati Public School, he enrolled at Delhi Technological University to study mechanical engineering.
He majored in marketing and finance throughout his post-graduate studies at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany and the Management Development Institute in Gurgaon, India.
While he was in his last year of college, he began writing. He left his position as a marketing analyst at American Express in 2011 and began writing full-time.
Avantika Mohan, a travel blogger and flight attendant, is his wife. Avantika was his girlfriend and they married in 2016.

In 2011, Whistling Woods International selected him as one of the two young achievers in the field of media and communications. His first program, Sadda Haq – My Life, My Choice, took home the prize for “Youth Show – Fiction” at the 2014 Zee Gold Awards and the 2014 and 2015 Indian Telly Awards.
Subhash Ghai has asked Durjoy Datta to create a few screenplays based on his own novels for his upcoming Bollywood film. He read him one of his works, and he liked it right away.
