Raza Academy is a tumor that needs to be treated before it turns into a cancer

Indian social architecture has always been targeted by the radical Islamist groups. In its effort to make a cultural ‘Salad Bowl’, the nation is made to bleed internally until death. The predatory expansionist religious radicals are systematically destroying every pillar of democracy. Under the veil of religious freedom, they are expanding the medieval principles of their religion. With the institutionalization of extremist Islamic ideas, they have now started to target common people.

The case against BJP leader Nupur Sharma

A case has been filed against BJP leader Nupur Sharma in Mumbai for her alleged remarks on Islam. On the complaint of Raza Academy, a Sunni Barelvi organization, Mumbai police have registered a case under section 153A(Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc., and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony), 295A (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) and 505 subsection b (with intent to cause, or which is likely to cause, fear or alarm to the public, or to any section of the public whereby any person may be induced to commit an offense against the State or against the public tranquility) of the Indian Penal Code.

Beheading threats to Nupur Sharma

Raza Academy – An Institutionalized Effort to Promote Jihad

Raza Academy is an organization of extremist Sunni Islamists, who have time and again engaged in violence and hateful activities. Raza Academy was established in 1978 in south Mumbai to print and publish books written by 17th-century Muslim scholar Aalahazrat Imam Ahmed Raza. Ever since the academy set up more than 30 centers across India and became a ‘voice’ of the country’s Sunni community.

The Sunni Islamist agency has now filed police against Nupur Sharma. It is the first step of their intimidation process. They are very systematic and organized in their Jihad promotion. Now, they will take this fight to the road and will organize a mass protest for Sharma’s arrest and in this process, they will create a law and order havoc in the country.

Earlier In September 2021, Raza Academy Muslims called for protests against the Saudi kingdom’s decision to permit cinema halls in Medina, which is considered a holy city by Muslims. Raza Academy raised anti-Saudi slogans outside Minara Mosque in Mumbai. Members of the Raza Academy held posters that quoted ‘Stop Cinema Halls in Madina Munawwarah’ and ‘Open the Gate of Harmain Sharifain’.

Moreover, in a shameful incident, during violent protests led by Raza Academy, Muslim youngsters damaged the Amar Jawan Memorial in Mumbai in 2012.

In a nutshell, Raza Academy is infamous for promoting radical Islamist ideas. It is high time such extremist Islamist organizations should be prohibited from performing any actions and promoting radical Islamist ideas that could threaten India’s peace and integrity. If this tumor is not controlled on time with proper ‘treatment’ then it is likely to turn into uncontrolled cancer.
