Career
Hiten Tejwani played a role in Ekta Kapoor’s serial Ghar Ek Mandir which aired on Sony TV. After this, Kapoor appeared in Kabhi Soutan Kabhi Saheli on Metro Gold, Kahin Kisi Roz on Star Plus and Kutumb on Sony TV with Gauri Pradhan.
He re-appeared with Pradhan in the second season of Kutumb, and Kapoor cast the same pairing in his show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. When Kutumb ended, he was offered the role of Karan Virani in Kapoor’s series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus.
In 2009, he and his wife also made a small cameo in the Star Plus show Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan. In 2006, Tejwani participated in the second season of Nach Baliye 2 along with his wife Gauri and returned to host Season 4 in 2008.
He played the role of Anurag Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, replacing Cezanne Khan in the role.

Hiten Tejwani and his wife Gauri Pradhan during the shooting of an advertisement for Breeze soap in Hyderabad. Later, they met on the sets of the tele-series Kutumb and were incidentally cast as the lead pair. The onscreen chemistry sparked a romance between them and they started dating. Playing star-cross lovers Karan and Nandini in another daily soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, they decided to get married.
After a courtship of two years, they got married on 29 April 2004 at the Sun-N-Sand Hotel in Pune in a private ceremony as per Maharashtrian customs, attended by around 40-50 guests. Soon after, they went to Ko Samui, Thailand for their honeymoon. His reception was held on 9 May 2004 at the Army Club in Juhu, with more than 400 guests.
On 11 November 2009, they became parents when Pradhan gave birth to twins, a son and a daughter, at Lilavati Hospital, Bandra, Mumbai.
