Yoshito Usui’s manga series Crayon Shin-chan is written and illustrated in Japanese. Crayon Shin-chan first appeared in a Japanese weekly magazine called Weekly Manga Action, published by Futabasha, in the year 1990. The manga in its original version concluded on September 11, 2009, due to the untimely death of author Yoshito Usui. Members of Usui’s team started a new manga called New Crayon Shin-chan in the summer of 2010. In India Shinchan in Hindi Show is still running on Hungama TV channel.

Shin Chan’s full name is Shinnosuke Nohara along with his parents and younger sister Himawari and a little puppy. This child is very wicked and keeps on surprising everyone with his words and antics. And out of these situations comes the humor. The full name of this cartoon is ‘Crayon Shin Chan’. Now there is a long story behind this ‘Crayon’.

There was a woman Masai and she had 2 children. His 5-year-old son came under a car while saving his younger sister from an accident and both the children lost their lives in this accident. His grieving mother used to draw on paper, remembering the moments spent with her children and how her life would have been if she had been alive, used to make all these things on Masai paper.

First, these stories appeared in a newspaper. After this, it also came in the form of a comic book. It first came on TV in 1992 and is running till date. Its story writer Yoshito Usai was found dead in 2009. But even after that, its broadcast was not stopped.

Who could have thought that such a sad story would be hidden behind such a funny cartoon? The entire incident was shown in an episode of this cartoon but it was never aired.
