Prashant Kishor is the man who can put even chameleon to shame. He has an incredible tendency to align with the winning political party before any election and then claim victory for himself and his consultancy firm I-PAC in totality. It is this simple for him to earn buckets of money, that too, with fame. The man is definitely a perfectionist when it comes to number crunching, and this led people to believe that he is a great political analyst too. But here arises the question, is he a great political analyst? Let’s find out.
Prashant Kishor plans revival of Congress in 2024
You know what happened with Congress in the recently concluded assembly election in five states, right? Congress faced a humiliating defeat and in the aftermath of the results, the state chiefs of five states were asked to resign. Well, Congress President Sonia Gandhi is fuming, it seems. Now, she is back to requesting poll strategist Prashant Kishor to plan the party’s revival for the 2024 general elections.
Kishor, too, attempts to make a heroic entry dreaming that he could actually revive the Congress party. In such a move, he made a detailed presentation at Sonia’s 10, Janpath residence. Notably, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra too were present.
If sources are to be believed, the high command has asked Kishor to join the party as they are concerned that he would also work with other parties as a poll consultant. Well, any other leader would have been concerned too, given Kishor’s tendency to jump ships one after another.
What a ‘skilled man’ Kishor is!
What do you think about Bollywood actor Amir Khan? He is a perfectionist when it comes to choosing a good script. But it takes only one bad script to expose his capabilities as an actor. You don’t believe it? Well, you should watch Dhoom 3 and Thugs of Hindustan.
You might be thinking why I have referred to Amir Khan here. That is because there is a similarity between Amir Khan and Prashant Kishor. Both have a good acumen to choose a good script. It is not a coincidence that Kishor always ends up joining a political leader or a party that is going to win the elections. He aligns with those political parties only, who, in any case, will win.

His political journey started with PM Modi in 2014. Riding on the Modi wave, the party won the general election. However, it was Prashant Kishor who gained momentum as if he had helped the party win the 2014 elections. But the reality is something else. He couldn’t even manage to secure a single seat for BJP, and it was all PM Modi’s popularity that led the party to storm to power.
Kishor always wanted to enter active politics and after the victory of the BJP in the 2014 general election, he wanted to be rewarded with a seat in Rajya Sabha. However, BJP’s refusal to give him a Rajya Sabha ticket led to his defection to JD(U), and he stitched the grand alliance in the Bihar assembly election in 2015.
Mamata and Amarinder were just another project
Prashant Kishor is a businessman. What matters to him is money. He has no loyalties and all that he is concerned about is a constant flow of truckloads of cash. Ensuring the victory of his projects is his motive. However, if he does not achieve victory for the party he has aligned with, he will not be particularly sorry or sad. He will simply move on to his next project.
Mamata Banerjee – the West Bengal CM and Amarinder Singh – the ex-Chief Minister of Punjab were one such project of Kishor.

If you have been fed with the narrative that Prashant Kishor should be credited for Amarinder’s victory in the 2017 Punjab assembly elections, you need a reality check. Amarinder Singh, given his popularity and nationalistic approach, was anyways going to win the state. Moreover, the people of Punjab were waiting to get rid of the past government as Punjab was gradually changing into Udta Punjab.
Now, let’s talk about Mamata Banerjee. West Bengal is the home turf of Mamata and thus it becomes obvious for her to sweep the state. So, how did Kishor actually contribute to her victory? Well, that’s still unknown to many of us. Apart from Banerjee, Amarinder and PM Modi, he also aligned with the Jagan Mohan Reddy’s party for similar reasons.
That’s the thing with Kishor. He knows when to align with whom to make a huge amount of money. A good number cruncher with zero loyalty towards anyone, that’s Kishor for you. This is why Kishor is a lucky chap as no matter who wins, he earns, and he earns a lot.
