While conducting a mini-debate on Ram Navmi violence, Rajdeep Sardesai had invited Asaduddin Owaisi and Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra. In his style, Rajdeep Sardesai tried to seek an apology from the MP Home Minister for establishing the law in the state by carrying out a demolition drive against the perpetrators of violence on Ram Navmi.
He kept pushing the MP Home Minister Narottam Mishra and kept asking if the minister was trying to create an atmosphere of fear ( Darr ka Mahaul). But to his shock, the minister said in clear terms,” Ghuma Ghumake mat pucho, mein spasht bol rha hu” which translates to, Don’t ask it again and again by twisting the question, I am stating it clearly.
To his disliking, the minister said that no perpetrators will be spared. Narottam Mishra also shredded Rajdeep Sardesai apart as he kept questioning the police’s action and factually stated the injuries suffered by the police officials. The Home Minister fired back, “why do such things keep on happening only on Hindu festivals?”

The attempt by Rajdeep Sardesai to put all the blame for Khargone’s stone-pelting on Kapil Mishra was also foiled by the minister Narottam Mishra. While referring to Digvijay Singh’s tweets he stated that, action within the law will be taken on these sleeper cells who are trying to provoke riots. The minister also exposed the Opposition’s hypocrisy. He clearly outlined that bombs had been thrown at the police force and several cops have sustained injuries that the opposition wouldn’t see at all, they only see the bulldozer action.
The Home Minister earlier had categorically said, “Jisghar se pathar aye hai, us Ghar ko patharo ka hi dher bana denge” i.e. Houses from which stones were pelted, will be turned into rubbles.

He was happy for getting a high TRP out of that unfortunate terrorist attack. He accepted that while the country was mourning the loss of life, it was a good day for him as his team was the only one present in the Parliament while it was under attack.
