Hindu Hriday Samrat’s son Uddhav speaks derisively about Shri Ram’s birth

Uddhav Ram BJP

Late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray’s son Uddhav Thackeray is now parroting the Congress’ stance on Bhagwan Ram. Targeting Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) for its stand on the Hindu cause, he said, “ I wonder had Lord Ram not been born what issue the BJP would have raised in politics”.

Shiv Sena Chief’s statement against BJP is total ignorance of his existence in politics. Statement of Uddhav Thackeray is not only derogatory to Bhagwan Ram but also to the late Bal Thackeray. As he till his last breath advocated for the Hindu’s cause and exposed the lies of Congress. He was vocal about Hindutva ideology and always spoke about Hindu unity and anti-India forces.

But opposite to Balasaheb, Shiv Sena is now walking on the line of Congress’s anti-Hindu corollary.

Existence of Shiv Sena

Raising the cause of Marathi youth, an anti-migration and regionalist party was formed on the Maratha pride. On line of Shivaji Maharaj’s Maratha Army, they called themselves, Shiv Sen which is Shivaji’s Army.

Although the formation of the party was for the Maratha cause, its founder Bal Thackeray made it a vocal Hindu party. The anti-nationalist politics of the left, liberals and islamists was opposed by him. He never supported the appeasement of Muslims by Congress for its vote bank. He vociferously opposed any kind of support to Islamists in India. He was one of the forefronts of the Hindu cause and was called Hindu Hriday Samrat.

He always advocated for the construction of the Ram Mandir and praised the Shiv Sainik for their part in the construction. He said, “He is proud that Babri Masjid was destroyed and Shiv Sena was part of it”. And also call for India being a place for Hindus and other religions should exist with Hindus peacefully. But it seems that Maharashtra CM has himself forgotten the contribution of Shiv Sainiks to the Ram Janmabhoomi cause.

The Paradoxical MVA

If statement of Uddhav Thackeray on Bhagwan Ram is taken in a literal sense then it seems that he is speaking against himself. The desperation to stay in power has made him so blind that he has forgotten his cause of existence. After allying with two ideologically poles apart parties, whenever Shiv Sena speaks of BJP’s Hindutva style politics, it looks like some people are trying to balance a chair of three legs.

It gives an idea that the ideology of these parties is subject to power. They can be moulded according to the tilt of power. The constant corruption and money laundering cases against Maharashtra’s minister reflect their paradoxical coexistence.

Speaking against BJP, the Shiv Sena president has forgotten his origin in politics. To save his chair, he continuously tries to raise the issues on which he exists. The Late Bal Thackeray never let his Hindutva ideology bent in front of power politics and held the fort of Hindus’ rights throughout his life. But, It seems like Uddhav Thackeray has lost his father’s ideal and his party’s ideology for power. Furthermore, He should ask himself, Who is Shiv Sena?
