Northern Eastern States – On a special flight of growth

May it be the road, railways, communication, waterways, airways or power, in every sector with the allocation of a special package, the region is being connected physically as well as psychologically by the rest of the Indian states.
From 2014 to 2019 North Eastern Region has seen Gross State Domestic Produce (GSDP) growth from USD 37 billion in 2014 to USD 52 billion in 2019, a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9%.

To the development of the region, all-union ministries allocate 10% of their budget to the northeastern states. In comparison to about INR 30000 crore in 2015-16, In 2022-23 it has allocated INR 76040 crore to the growth of the region. Himanta Biswa Sarma – A special bridge of peace in the region
The years of the neglected state of affairs had led the state into the cycle of violence. The recurring effect of killings and instability had affected the growth of the region. The special culture and living patterns of the regional tribes were not given proper attention. The vulnerability was used by the vested interest group to incite violence and create a sense of secessionist feelings.
However, the combined effort of the centre and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma (HBS) has led the states’ from the cycle of growth to the trajectory of ‘sky high’ development.
From ending 5 decades-old land border dispute between Assam & Meghalaya to bringing a peace agreement with Bodo & Karbi militants groups, under HBS, the state is leading on the path of exponential growth.
The inauguration of the first Flight Training Organization will not only train pilots to fly aircraft but also give wings to the aspirations of millions of youth in the region. The sunrise states will ultimately be on the sunrise step of development.
