Kim Yo-han is a South Korean singer and actor who goes by the mononym Yohan. Pre-debut

Kim was a national taekwondo athlete before making his debut. He was a two-time National Youth Sports Festival champion.

Produce X 101 and X1 in 2019

Despite only having three months of preparation, Kim competed in Mnet’s reality survival show Produce X 101 in May 2019.

The initial plan for the show was for the eleven victors to form a boy band that would tour for five years under the Swing Entertainment banner. Kim Yohan won the competition and made her debut as a member and center of X1 on August 27, 2019, at the Gocheok Sky Dome’s inaugural showcase. However, due to claims of voter fraud in the show, X1 was forced to disband on January 6, 2020.

Kim Yohan was in talks to join the School 2020 series. In February 2020, it was announced, with the show set to premiere in August 2020. The series was believed to have been canceled by KBS in April 2020 owing to a casting issue over the female lead character.

Oui Entertainment stated on June 17, 2020 that they will unveil a new boy group in the second half of the year, provisionally dubbed “OUIBOYZ.” Kim, along with label mates Kim Dong-han, Jang Dae-hyeon, and Kang Seok-hwa, is slated to be a part of this group.
