Prega News knows how to destroy woke feminist ideals

Prega News Advertisement Women

Have you watched the recent Prega News advertisement? I have. It blew my mind. Not many advertisements today build anticipation. Most advertisements do not tackle complex and sensitive issues with care. Most advertisements today cater to a liberal audience that is hell-bent on destroying existing societal norms, boundaries, and morals. On the level of family and personal relationships as well, the toxic ‘Woke’ agenda is being force-fed to Indians by several companies. On social media, in particular, these advertisements become a sensation among young Indians who are completely cut off from their cultural roots.

So, when one watches Prega News’ advertisement for this year’s International Women’s Day, one is swept off their feet. The advertisement is a story all by itself. It forms a personal connection with viewers. At the end of it, the viewers can say just one thing: “Wow!”

Not many companies make their advertisements with such determination, using what is still ‘conventional’ Indian rhetoric.

In its advertisement, Prega News took anti-child crusaders – most of whom claim to be “feminists” – to the cleaners. The advertisement shows a model who has made up her mind to not have a child, almost on the verge of terminating it.

The young lady walks into a waiting room at a railway station while speaking on the phone to a friend to whom she narrates her ordeal. Upon entering the waiting room, the model sees two women – one dressed in a corporate outfit working on her laptop, and the other wearing a saree, carrying a crying child in her arms. Both the ‘working’ women are annoyed at the crying child and her mother, so much so that the model does not even help the mother when the milk bottle slips off her hands.

In walks a cleaner, who has a big smile on her face. She is happy doing her work and helps the mother whose child is crying. She tells the mother how to make her child stop crying, while also informing the ladies that she has three children herself. The busy corporate worker is somewhat disgusted by the statement. How can and why should a woman have three children in 2022, after all?

Despite the cleaner claiming she is very happy and has no problem balancing her work and family life, the laptop-laden woman remarks that due to the sheer number of her children and her dedication to taking care of them, the cleaner was not able to make it big in life and was “left behind”.

The cleaner ignores the jibe

The corporate worker then turns to the mother whose child has stopped crying and says since she is a housewife, she can manage a child. Essentially, the woman concluded that the saree-wearing, child-holding lady could not be a working woman. She is humiliated when the mother rises and tells her that it has definitely not been easy tackling the law and order of the Jhansi district and taking care of her child at the same time – but that her life now feels complete.

The model then asks the woman who she is, to which she replies – “Seema Rastogi, SSP Jhansi.”

The advertisement goes on to show Rastogi getting out of the police station when she is delivered with a magazine showing the model carrying a baby within her.

Why the Advertisement is Beautiful

There is a new trend these days. A woman is projected to be incapable of balancing her work life with the responsibilities and duties that come alongside a family and children. Liberals assume, in their minds of course, that a child is an inhibitory factor for a woman.

However, the Prega News advertisement busts that myth, which is just really a figment of imagination being mainstreamed by leftists and ‘feminists.’

The ‘Woke’ narrative these days suggests that a woman should focus only on her career, and not consider herself a baby-producing machine. Prega News, however, has set the narrative straight. It has shown how women can raise a family and take care of it, while also making it big in life.
