5 issues highlighted by the media that failed to stop Yogi’s ‘Vijayrath’

Liberal Media BJP Yogi Uttar Pradesh

Such was the fear of Yogi Adityanath amongst the liberals and its liberal media that they left no stone unturned to malign the incumbent government. Ignoring the developmental work done by CM Yogi, the liberal media gave it their all to frame BJP and UP CM Yogi Adityanath in every random issue. While they were hoping that it will reflect badly on the party and will cut the size of votes, the party has rather witnessed a thumping majority in four states including Uttar Pradesh.

In the article, we’ll tell you about the five core issues that the left media used to attack Yogi Government. However, it failed.

Hathras rape case

Remember the Hathras gang rape case? A 19-year victim, who succumbed to her injuries was cremated at her native village, allegedly in the dead of night and without her family’s presence or consent. She reportedly was assaulted by four men and allegedly gang-raped, leading to nationwide outrage

Amidst various angles and contradictions between media reports and the administration’s version of the entire incident, the liberal gang had pounced on the opportunity to go for a kill against the centre and the state, all whilst ignoring the plight of other victims in non-BJP states that have met with the same fate.

The Yogi government, however, had barricaded the village as the incident was being hyped to give a political angle and make an issue out of it.

The media was banned by the government to avoid opportunistic and shoddy journalism, which, like in the Kathua case, was being done by a section of Indian media to turn the whole incident into something which it was not, only to train guns at the Yogi government.

Lakhimpur Kheri case

In an effort to shield the negative coverage of the Aryan Khan Drug Scandal, Lutyens’ media attempted to set up the lynching of BJP workers in Lakhimpur Kheri as an anti-farmer incident– a deliberate massacre carried out by a minister in the Modi government.

But the reality was something else. On 3rd October 2021, fake farmers created a ruckus at the protest site in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh, which further took an ugly turn that led to the deaths of no less than nine people including four farmers, four BJP workers and one journalist.

Farmers protest to attack Modi Government

The alleged farmer’s protest was nothing but a move to attack Modi Government for the three revolutionary farm laws that the latter introduced. Be it the media or the opposition parties including Congress, AAP and Samajwadi party, all jumped on the bandwagon. They attempted to use the farmers’ protest to throw BJP out of political power from the poll-bound states. However, they have failed as the exit polls have predicted that the saffron party is leading in the farmers’ protest region in Uttar Pradesh.

Migrant crisis

In the wake of the Wuhan virus pandemic, the migrant workers had been the worst hit. Their miseries have been further compounded by the apathy shown by their respective state governments. While the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar refused to help migrants, Yogi Government ensured that they are being treated properly. From providing financial aid to keeping a regular check, the UP government efficiently handled the migrant crisis rather effectively.

However, it was liberal media who did not leave the opportunity to attack CM Yogi and portrayed him as the CM who could not manage the crisis. It was the classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. Despite their efforts to malign Yogi Government, they have failed as the saffron party has stormed back to power in the state with a thumping majority.

Covid Crisis

Earlier as reported by TFI, Aaj Tak had made a mountain out of a molehill in Prayagraj where people mainly of the Buddhist faith buried their loved ones. Visuals of the said burial ground were flashed around as though the bodies lying covered with orange, yellow and red cloths were a result of the Covid-19 crisis.

Aaj Tak thought that it could get away with spreading fallacious misinformation. However, it had been caught red-handed trying to spread sheer propaganda against the Yogi administration.

As per ‘The Wire’ report, “Uttar Pradesh has once again become the most important gauge of the public reaction to the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic by the Narendra Modi government.”

The propaganda portal seemingly was unaware of the rising cases in Maharashtra, Kerala, and Delhi. However, the voters were aware of the same and this was visible in the vote share that BJP grabbed in the assembly elections.

Yogi Adityanath is not an ordinary Chief Minister who has become the first sitting chief minister to win a consecutive term after having served on the post for five years. It is a tight slap in the face of liberal media who were hell-bent on demeaning him.
