While liberals and their media kept crying for Indian students in Ukraine, the Modi govt started their evacuation, for free

Russia has started a war with Ukraine. The entire globe is holding its breath and watching what transpires next amidst the war. Although the war is being waged thousands of kilometres away from India, the liberals and the newly formed ‘geopolitical experts’ have launched a war against Indian Government.

PM Modi led Government, however, is keen on protecting the Indian nationals in Ukraine. While liberal media kept crying over the security of Indian students in Ukraine, the Indian Government already began the evacuation. Well, Modi hai to Mumkin hai!

Advisory to the Indian students in Ukraine

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is still continuing. Amidst such horrifying situations, the Embassy of India in Kyiv issued an advisory for Indian nationals, especially students.

The advisory directs them to depart first in an organised manner. It further told them to remain “strong, safe and alert”.

“Once above routes are operational, Indian nationals travelling by their own arrangements for transport would be advised to proceed to above border check points, and remain in touch with the helpline numbers set up at respective checkpoints, for facilitation through the border. Numbers would be shared once the control rooms are establised,” the advisory states.

The Indian nationals in Ukraine have been directed “to carry essential items along with them, including passport, cash, and Covid-19 double vaccination certificate.”

“Carry passport, cash preferably in USD for any emergency expenses, and other essentials. Covid-19 double vaccination certificate, if available,” the advisory states.

“Print out Indian flag and paste prominently on vehicles and buses while travelling,” it added.

Evacuation of 470 students

Few hours after the advisory was issued, the evacuation was being carried out. Reportedly, India has carried out first round of evacuation of its nationals. The first batch of Indian students left Chernivtsi in a bus for the Ukraine-Romania border. The Embassy of India in Kyiv informed that “The evacuation was being organised with the joint effort of the Indian embassies in Romania, Hungary and Poland.”

While speaking with India Today, one student told that “She was grateful that they were in the western part of Ukraine, away from the combat zone and Russian airstrikes and shelling.”

She further added, “We felt safe but at a point we were scared and our parents were really worried for us. But our university and the Indian embassy was there for us and rescued us as soon as possible.”

One evacuee reported that “Several medical students in Kyiv have taken shelter in underground metro stations. They are yet to be rescued.”

Notably, around 20,000 Indians, mainly students, are currently stranded in Ukraine. The Indian embassy in Ukraine said that it is “working to establish evacuation routes from Romania and Hungary.”

Liberals’ failed attempt to malign the image of Indian government

Earlier as reported by TFI, NDTV is playing their propaganda at full volume in the middle of a war. Despite several notifications released by Indian embassy in Ukraine asking the students to return to India, one student talked to NDTV and remarked that she would love to stay put in the country.

However, after the war has started, the same student is now blaming the government for inaction while NDTV is running the clip at full volume.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi also “highlighted” the plight of Indian students stuck in Ukraine and requested the central government to carry out their evacuation urgently.

Indian Government, however, has yet again proved that no matter how hard the situation is and wherever you are stuck at, it will ensure your safety and well being.
