“Ladki Hain Lad Sakti Hain” and that’s why they have joined BJP

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the face of Congress in Uttar Pradesh, systematically made up to newspaper headlines with her constant visits to the victim families of Uttar Pradesh. Even after the appropriate actions by the administration, the unfortunate incidents were used by Priyanka Gandhi and the Congress Party as opportunities of her political tourism.

Launch of Priyanka Gandhi and her Campaign

Congress was not considered a player in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, as it is a party that lacks both leadership  and cadre. Until, the media showed the janta of Uttar Pradesh, the grand helicopter landing of another Gandhi dynast, popular as Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra after her political tourism, finally took over the responsibility of General Secretary. She is leading the Congress, which is bound to loose  the UP elections, from the front.

With no base in Uttar Pradesh, the Congress party under the leadership of Priyanka Gandhi played the ‘Mahila Card’. They decided to woo the women voters of the state. In this row, she launched a women centric campaign titled, ‘Ladki Hun Lad Sakti Hun’.

The Exodus of Poster Girls of ‘Ladki Hun Lad Sakti Hun’

The three prominent poster girls of the ‘Ladki Hun Lad Sakti Hun’ Campaign have aligned with the BJP. All the exodus of prominent women have put the intent of the Congress into question. While the three ladies gave different reasons to quit Congress, the major driving force for joining BJP was the influence of PM Modi and his Nationalistic ideologies claim the media reports.

The recent exodus is of Pallavi Singh, who joined the BJP at Lucknow Party Office. She told during her interviews that, she was highly influenced by PM Modi and his ideas and confirmed that quitting Congress was not a sudden decision.

Priyanka Maurya had left the Congress as she was denied ticket in the upcoming Assembly elections. She alleged that the party’s ticket distribution ahead of the assembly elections was rigged. Maurya said, “They [Congress] used my face, my name and my 10 lakh social media followers for the campaign. But when it came to the ticket for the upcoming election, it was given to someone else. This is injustice. It is all pre-decided.”

At a time when the Congress party is focusing on the women voters of the state, the simultaneous exodus of Priyanka Gandhi campaign’s poster girls has the potential to question the intent of her women centric campaign. The constant shifting of these poster girls to the BJP is enough to give a big blow to already weak Congress.

After constant negligence from the Congress the leaders have shifted to BJP to get what they deserve clearly signifies that they are girls who can fight as in ‘Ladki Hain Lad Sakti Hain.’
