Her journey from the world of glamor to the army was quite interesting. After passing the Higher Secondary examination, while enrolling in the graduation, Garima’s trend went towards the glamor world. Her friends also asked him to pay attention to this. Garima prepared for this and by the time she completed her graduation, she had won the crown of India’s Miss Charming Face.
After winning this contest, Garima Yadav got many offers of advertising and modeling, but she turned it down. She once again started preparing to fulfill her childhood dream. She appeared for the Combined Defense Service (CDS) paper and was selected as a lieutenant in the Indian Army. Today she is serving the country by staying in the army.

Childhood dream was to join army
In an interview, Lieutenant Garima Yadav had told that after getting selected for the Officer Training Academy, her dream came true. Garima says that it was extremely difficult for me to face the tough training. I was not physically fit either. But he prepared himself for it by working hard. Because it was a dream of Garima Yadav to join the Indian Army.
It was indeed a matter of pride to achieve this success, focusing on myself in the midst of a career full of glitz and fame. But after winning the beauty contest, Garima got a call from the International Beauty Contest to be held in Italy. Garima says in one of her interviews that the day the letter of the contest came, on the same day I also got the letter to enroll in the Officer Training Academy in Chennai. But my goal was fixed. I had to join the army and I took the decision without giving up and reached Officer Training Academy.
