A heartbreaking incident was reported on Tuesday, January 11 in Rajasthan’s Alwar district. A differently-abled 16-year-old girl was brutally gang-raped and was left in a pool of blood on a bridge near the Tijara Fatak with her private organs badly damaged. But, the Rajasthan Government, instead of taking strict actions against the culprits, is acting clueless.
No evidence of the sexual assault, says Police
In a recent development in the Alwar case, the police reportedly have found no evidence of the sexual assault incident yet. According to Dr Ravi DIG, civil rights, “The police are investigating the case from various angles. However, the possibility of sexual assault is low.”

He further told that “There is a possibility that the incident would’ve taken place at the flyover where she spent 5-7 minutes. We’re investigating the case from different angles. For now, I can’t reach any conclusion. However, the possibility of sexual assault is low.”
Despite speculations of gang rape, the police have not found any evidence as of yet. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Human Rights Commission has directed the Alwar district administration and Superintendent of police to submit a report by January 18.
Congress faces the wrath
Given the slow investigation proceedings and no outcome yet, Congress, who is currently, leading the state, is facing the wrath. The state unit of BJP formed a committee seeking justice for the victim. BJP’s National Secretary Alka Gurjar stated, “Priyanka Gandhi, in Uttar Pradesh, says, ‘Ladki hun, lad sakti hun’ but in Rajasthan, she has come for jungle safari wanting to watch the tiger. She is oblivious to the Jungle Raj prevailing in the Congress-ruled state of Rajasthan. We will tell Priyanka to look at the prevailing lawlessness in Rajasthan.”
