Smart Ladies Toilet : a step forward to clean India

smart ladies toilet

Smart Ladies Toilet concept- Unavailability of public toilets affects women from all economic strata, but the issues of women from lower economic strata are exacerbated because they have few options. The problem of toilets is more problematic in cities than in rural regions, because rural areas have open spaces and fields, but urban areas have limited quarters and little open space.

There are communicable illness issues, such as the fact that women are significantly more susceptible to urinary tract and reproductive system infections than men, and sexual harassment.

Adolescent females miss 5 days of school per month and 50 days a year due to insufficient menstruation protection. After they start menstruation, approximately 23% of these girls drop out of school.

In order to develop an agenda for adolescent health, it is necessary to understand and address the multifaceted health requirements and special concerns of teenagers in national policies and a variety of programmes at various levels. The government, as well as other institutions must assist the realization of this objective.
