Actress and BJP MP Hema Malini has become the latest thorn in the flesh for the liberals, thanks to her remarks. The three-time Rajya Sabha MP and two-time Lok Sabha MP on Sunday in an interaction with media expressed her desire that a grand Krishna Temple must be built in Mathura — her constituency.

“Being the MP of Mathura, which is the birthplace of Lord Krishan who is the symbol of love and affection, I will say that there should be a grand temple,” said Hema.

She further added, “A temple is already there and can be beautified like Modi-ji (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) developed Kashi Vishwanath corridor and the river Ganga can be seen directly from the temple.”

Enraged liberals take to social media:

A darling publication of the liberal media named ‘She The People’ bore the brunt for reporting Hema’s statements. Some riled up Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) called out the publication for showing Sanghi tendencies.

One blue-tick liberal asked, “Why would She the people cover this c***?” while another said, “Of all things happening in lndia, “She the Sheeple” thinks Hema Malini “hoping for grand temple in Mαthurα” is newsworthy”

Meanwhile some Muslim handles construed Hema’s statements for building Krishna Mandir as hatred for Muslims. The netizen tweeted, “Their wish for temples is nothing but hatred for muslims. Each one of them is responsible for the lynchings of muslim youth and for the subhuman behaviour of the majority community.”

Then came the seculars who always talk about hospitals and schools to enhance their arguments. A user named ‘Tones’ asked Hema Malini, “Any Hospital or Education institution will be built.”

BJP is aggressively batting to declutch mandirs:

Ever since the Ram Mandir construction was justified by the Supreme Court and PM Modi inaugurated the newly developed Kashi Vishwanath corridor, the leftists have been up in arms about the future of other annexed temples. Their fear has only been elevated by the statements of top brass of BJP, which seems very confident about realizing its ambitions.

Recently, speaking at a Maha Yagya in Ayodhya, CM Yogi gave the slogan “Mathura abhi baaki hai” (Mathura is still left) and said said, “Bhagwan Shri Ram and religion cannot be separate, they are complementary to each other. Lord Shri Ram never did injustice and did not tolerate injustice.”

Yogi’s statements came on the heels of deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, who tweeted about the mission to declutch various Mandirs in Kashi and Mathura.

Earlier in June, as reported by TFI, Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Aandolan Samiti, in its application to the court of Mathura senior civil judge, offered a larger piece of land to the mosque management committee of the 17th century Shahi Masjid which stands on the birthplace of Bhagwan Krishna.

Like several other temples around the country, Krishna Mandir has been encroached upon by a Mosque, built by Islamic invaders. The case is still pending in the court with the biggest hurdle being the Places of Worship Act, 1991, brought by the then PV Narsimha Rao government.
