IIT Kharagpur’s calendar destroys Aryan Invasion myth and leftists are rattled out of their wits

When someone utters a lie a lot of time, you forget the difference between truth and propagandised lies. This is getting eminently manifested in leftists’ meltdown over IIT Kharagpur’s calendar destroying the Aryan Invasion myth.

IIT Kharagpur releases a new calendar dismantling Aryan Invasion theory

Recently, IIT Kharagpur, one of India’s premier institutions dedicated to scientific research, came up with a new academic calendar for the year 2022. The calendar has been prepared by the Centre of Excellence for Indian Knowledge system in IIT Kharagpur.

For the sake of a layman trying to understand the calendar, it has been divided into three themes. In one theme, it describes the Vedic history of India; similarly, it went on to describe the Indus valley civilization of India. The third theme is a brilliant explanation of why colonial rulers (Britishers mainly) forged the first two themes.

The introductory note of the calendar clearly dismantles the distortion of Indian history by foreigners. It reads, “The current Chronology of Indian Civilization and history is dubious and questionable. A long evolutionary sequence of literature and cultural and spiritual texts are evident prior to the birth of the Buddha and the Mahavira. It must have had taken a few 1000 years to achieve that. From the early Vedic Srutis (oracular form) before it took the form of literature to later Vedic Age and Puranic literature, it is definitely few 1000 years. But the long Chronology has suffered suppression, compromises, contractions, and distortions.”

Liberals rained down on refutation of the Aryan Invasion theory

The most controversial part of the calendar is its challenge to the already falsified and scientifically discredited theory of Aryans invading India. Each detail attached with 12 months of the year provided with 12-pieces of evidence rebutting the Aryan Invasion theory.

Open refutation to the theory did not go down well with liberals. Having no scientific evidence against rebuttal, they used Twitter to express their frustration.

A user named PKR called the new calendar ‘pseudo-science mumbo-jumbo’. He effectively argued that there is no real science in IIT Kharagpur.

Su Venkateshan tried to shame IIT-Kharagpur and opined that the institution has become un-scientific, just because it published the calendar

Another former employee of Google called the calendar puerile and unscientific.

Unscientific—The recurring theme running through liberals’ criticism of calendar

Aniket Sule, a professor at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Mumbai asked whether publishers were unaware of the development of Indology. He said that the intention was right, but the way in which dots were connected to arrive at the conclusion was unscientific.

Asking the scientific community to speak on the issue, Sule said, “We’re asking ourselves — do we really need to respond to something as ludicrous as this?But if the scientific community remains silent, there is a risk that the general public will believe such content, and especially so as it is from an IIT.”

Colonial hangover— terms Professor Joy

Meanwhile, Professor Joy Sen, the creator of the calendar has termed criticism as a colonial hangover.

Explaining the calendar, Shri Sen said, “In the first eight pieces of evidence of the 2022 calendar, you see the cosmic and ecological sciences of space, time and causation as embedded in the Vedas. The last four portray the mishandling of that science by colonial-mindedness (and how) that led to deaths in the world war, through a super Aryan-Caucasus race theory,”

Asserting that IIT Kharagpur is just playing its part in the rejection of already disapproved theory, he added, “The fallacy of the Aryan Invasion Myth is a matter for disapproval and rejection now. It is the need of the hour and that is what the 2022 IKS, IITKGP (IIT Kharagpur) calendar does,”

A particular difference between critics of the calendar and Shri Joy’s assertion is that of evidence. While the creator explained his arguments explaining the calendar; the critics did not provide a single piece of evidence to prove their point. They just called it unscientific and did not even bother to explain or provide any proof. As a matter of fact, evidence is what separates science from other areas of life.
