Dear Eric Garcetti, focus on your core job and leave activism in the US before stepping on Indian soil

Garcetti, Biden, India

US President Joe Biden’s envoy nominee to India Eric Garcetti even before stepping foot in the country has started preaching sermons. Garcetti remarked that he will actively bring up human rights conversation if appointed to the position.

Speaking to AFP, Garcetti said, “There are groups that are actively fighting for human rights of people on the ground in India that will get direct engagement from me,”

If one thought Garcetti was being vague using the broad term of ‘human rights’ — he clarified in his statements to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The ambassador-designate said he will also raise the matter of discrimination against Muslims in India, such as through the Citizenship Amendment Act if confirmed to the position.

The woke Los Angeles mayor which has turned the city into a safe haven for shoplifters, with homicide rates rising almost 40 percent in the last year wants to police the Indian government as a proxy of Biden.

Garcetti ratcheting up the pole of activism is not a rogue incident. In fact, it is a cleverly crafted ploy by the Democrat government led by Joe Biden currently sitting in the white house. Ever since Biden was inaugurated to the office, his ultra-left colleagues have started attacking and plotting plans to break India, albeit in a concerted manner.

The US will fund foreign independent media:

Earlier this month, the US government announced that it will provide funding for specific, chosen, supposed ‘independent’ media houses around the world, in an effort to support freedom of the press worldwide. No prizes for guessing which media houses will be getting the meaty pie of the funding.

The plans are part of the Presidential Initiative for Democratic Renewal, which Biden recently discussed during the ornamental international democracy summit.

Sub-national diplomacy – a euphemism for the balkanization of India:

Moreover, immediately after coming to power, the Biden administration had coined the term ‘sub-national diplomacy’ rather aggressively. In layman terms, Biden and his government want to interfere in the internal matters of foreign nations — an extension of which was pieced in words and sentences by Garcetti above.

Subnational diplomacy in even cruder terms attempts the balkanization of India. There is no pretence on part of the US in what it wants to achieve. In the broader context, under the guise of sub-national diplomacy, the likes of Garcetti using the ‘independent media funding’ want to encourage the participation of non-state actors. Installing an opposition-led rule that aligns with their ideology appears to be the end game.

Garcetti’s protecting his colleague accused of sexual harassment:

However, the choice of pick from Biden is rather peculiar. His former deputy chief of staff, Rick Jacobs, is accused of being a serial sexual harasser of co-workers. Despite evidence pointing towards the same, Garcetti continues to maintain that he never saw anything or heard anything.

According to his version, he was not aware even though a lawsuit by Matthew Garza claims Garcetti was in the car several times while his aide made sexually explicit remarks, touched Garza who was sitting in the front.

Thus, it is advisable for Garcetti to focus on his core job, and which is to represent his country in the embassy, tend to the demands of the central government in New Delhi and attend festival events and give one or two op-eds once in a while.
