Joining BJP

The decision of joining the BJP was disliked by his son and said that it was a bad decision.

The Former Minister also alleged that his presence in the party and party meetings were seemingly not required. He is called an attention seeker by many political thinkers. However, in Politics the old people are not given the required attention and respect that they deserve.

Young politicians feel that old politicians are no longer relevant in politics and therefore neglected. Such incidents are not only happening in Odisha but the old politicians are being neglected in almost all other regional or national parties when the young ones take charge.
