K Sivasankar Short Biography
K Sivasankar, also known as Sivasankar Master, is an Indian actor, choreographer, dancer, and master of dance. K Sivasankar was born in Chennai on December 7, 1948. He is an Indian choreographer, mainly engaged in the southern film industry, including Telugu and Tamil films. He worked in more than 10 languages. Biography of K Sivasankar – Early Life and Starting of his Career
Sivasankar was born on December 7, 1948, in Govindappa Naicken Street, Parrys, Chennai, to Kalyana Sundaram and Komala Amal. In Kothawal Chavadi, his father worked as a wholesale fruit trader.
He was educated at home. He thereafter went to Hindu Theological Higher Secondary School in Sowcarpet to study. He recently attributed his feminine demeanor to his lack of outside world contact as a result of his upbringing, in which he was primarily cared for by women in his family.
His father was a highly gifted musician and astrologer with extensive understanding of Carnatic music and astrology, but he was harsh with his children. Fortunately, while his father was away at a carnatic music festival, Sivasankar was requested to represent him at theater and dance festivals. He was inspired to learn to dance as a result of this. Natraj & Sakunthala, Mylapore, taught him the fundamentals of dancing. In 1974, he became an assistant to dance master Saleem and his journey started.

Movies of Sivasankar
K Sivasankar has participated in the creation of more than 800 feature films. In 1996, “Poove Unakkaga”, “Vishwa Thulasi” in 2003, “Varalaru” in 2006 and “Uliyin Osai” in 2008 won the Best Choreography Award in Tamil Nadu.
The choreographer was tasked with creating not only dance sequences, but also action sequences and Ajith’s overall body language.
As an Actor
In addition to staging songs, Shivasankar has also starred in several Telugu and Tamil films. Sivasankar has also acted in films, most notably in K. S. Ravikumar’s Varalaru, in which he played Ajith Kumar’s dance instructor (2006).
In Bala’s period drama Paradesi (2013), he played a Christian missionary who seeks to convert the religion of innocent tea workers.

Brief Biography of K Sivasankar
His lightning-fast choreography for the Thiruda Thirudi film’s super successful song Manmadha Raasa was extensively praised in 2003. For his contributions to dance, he received an honorary doctorate from New International Christian University in Bangalore in 2003.
After a successful career Sivasankar died of COVID-19 on November 28, 2021, at the age of 72, in a private hospital in Hyderabad. It is reported that his financial condition was not good at the time of his death. His death was mourned by many renowned celebrities.
