The Kochi Police on Tuesday (November 2) arrested Thushara Kallayil, the woman who was brutally beaten up for running a non-halal restaurant in the state. Along with Tushara, her husband Ajith Kallayil and two associates Appu and Sunil have also been arrested by the police alleging that they leveled false accusations of assault.
A case against Thushara has been filed under Section 152A (Promoting enmity between different groups) of the Indian Penal Code. The Police stated that the incident occurred on the night of October 24 where Thusara, her husband, and two others allegedly removed a kiosk owned by Nakul S Babu at Chil Se Food Spot at Nilampathinjimukal near Infopark, Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala.
She faked the attack: Police
According to the New Indian Express report, Police further remarked that the ‘no-Halal’ board was put up on the same day the brawl happened. During the investigation, they found that Thushara and her associates took furniture from a nearby shop contrary to what her complaint said, where she had claimed that furniture was stolen from her shop. Nakul Babu has lodged a complaint of theft while the police believe that Thushara and her husband planned the attack.
Kerala: All that Thushara Ajith did was open a Non-Halal Resturant in supposedly Hindu Majority Communist State.
For that reason alone Muzlim terrorists attacked Hindu women so brutally that she ended up in the ICU.
No Hindu veers, Libtrads or media spoke about it. pic.twitter.com/lHbqo3624d

I was attacked by Islamists: Thushara
However, according to Thushara herself, she went live on Facebook from the hospital bed to inform about the attack on her. According to her, during the inauguration of the eatery, she had placed a banner outside her eatery which read “No Halal, Halal Bakshanam Nishidham” (Halal food is banned here). She had then revealed that since inception, many Muslims took offence to her idea of running a non-halal restaurant.
This is not the first time that the Kerala government has come after citizens for breaking the monopoly of Halal products. As reported by TFI, in January, RV Babu, leader of a Hindu outfit named Hindu Aikya Vedi, who called for a boycott of the Halal products (prepared as per Islamic rituals) was held by the Kerala government.

Halal vs non-halal
Religious certification of food products is becoming a big issue in India, as extremist Muslims have been monopolizing the regulation of non-vegetarian, as well as, vegetarian food through halal certification. Even companies like Patanjali were forced to take halal certification from various Muslim certification bodies, which charge hefty money ranging from 500 rupees to 5,000 rupees per food product.
The Halal meat industry is ‘of the Muslims, by the Muslims but for everyone’. In many countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, and India, a tiny Muslim minority has forced the majority community to adhere to their practices and standards.
The Muslim community has already monopolized the non-vegetarian food industry and forced the lower caste and class of Hindus to go unemployed. Even vegetarian food units are being asked to get the Halal certification if they want a smooth run without facing a boycott from the Muslims, even though all vegetarian food is Halal (pure) as per the Quran.
In a country where a majority of consumers are non-Muslims, Halal food is being forced down their throats, thanks to cartelization, fundamentalism, and unity among Muslims. The likes of Thushara who are the victims are now being painted the villain, courtesy of an able complicit in the Kerala government.
All of us should boycott halal certified product. Let’s strictly do this
Hindus and Indian majority population just shouldn’t stop at the boycotts or just being active only on social media. Hindus must unite and challenge them legally and also physically go to the every incident and mount the pressure on local govt with peaceful protests and firmly stand in support with victims in the ground and provide all help needed to the victims.
Let’s see how many millions of Hindus the state govt can put in the jails.
Bloody shame the perpetrators of the assault to be dealt with severly as deterrent for future. How many hallal serving restaurants have been attacked.
Must boycott all hallal products.
