Following the “illicit drug activities” revealed through Aryan Khan’s WhatsApp chats, a special NDPS court denied the bail application of Aryan Khan in the Mumbai cruise drug case on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) searched Shah Rukh Khan’s Bandra home ‘Mannat’. Witnessing such developments, the speculations of Shah Rukh joining Aryan Khan in jail has set the media abuzz.
NCB reached Mannat
The NCB, on Thursday, in connection with the probe reached ‘Mannat’ to conduct a search for the further proceedings. An NCB official, while interacting with the media, asserted that the visit was regarding a formal notice handout saying if Aryan Khan has any other electronic devices, they must be turned over to the NCB for further probe.
However, the development came hours after Shah Rukh reached Arthur Road jail in Mumbai, to meet his son Aryan for some minutes. The superstar has been silent and there has been no official statement or any comment from his side whatsoever.
Meanwhile, the NCB has also raided Ananya Pandey’s house as the actress’ name reportedly popped up in WhatsApp chats of one of the accused in the drug case. The actress was also summoned by the agency and was questioned for around two hours.
An NCB officer spoke about the same and said, “The investigation is going on. When NCB officials visit a person or location for questioning that does not mean the person is a culprit or being investigated. There are several procedures being followed.”

Shah Rukh’s controversial past
Shah Rukh Khan’s Wankhede controversy that transpired a few years back, needs no introduction. SRK was banned by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials from entering the cricket stadium after he allegedly misbehaved with the stadium officials in a ‘drunken state’.
MCA secretary Nitin Dalal had said, “He misbehaved and abused the MCA security personnel as well as MCA officials, including our president Vilasrao Deshmukh, after the IPL match.”
It is pertinent to note that earlier this month, Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was detained by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for his alleged involvement in the consumption, sale, and purchase of drugs under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.
Well, there is a possibility that Shah Rukh was aware of Aryan’s actions, but he deliberately ignored them. It can also be speculated that SRK might have also been involved in consuming as well as facilitating the purchase of narcotics for his son.
In such a scenario, if NCB, while investigating Aryan’s case, finds any evidence against King Khan, he too might probably have to face the music and join his son in jail.
