Ridhima Sud is the name of a young Indian Bollywood actress and model who hails from Delhi. She is known for her role as ‘Noori Sud’ from the movie ‘Dil dhadakne do’. She graduated from New York University with a degree in political science and economics and worked as an intern on Wall Street before entering the glamour world. She was the biker girl in the Pond Dream flowers commercial “Not in the Pond,” which she shot in Kaya.
Ridhima Sud Life before entering the film industry
Sud came from a well to do Punjabi family. She was quite rebellious as a kid and after completing her studies to prove herself before her father, Ridhima Sud worked in the wall street. While she was working in the Wallstreet she realized that her true passion is art. So, she decided to pursue her future and try her acting skills in Bollywood. In an interview Ridhima Sud mentioned that her father was appalled when she told him about how she would like to pursue acting.
Her father tried to convince her not to pursue acting field as it involves too much struggle without any guarantee of success. She further added that as they didn’t have any background or links to Bollywood industry her father was quite concerned about her pursuing acting career. Ridhima’s father even offered her money to buy any expensive item she wished for.

Sud’s journey in making films
Ridhima Sud is associated with modelling and bagging roles in Hindi feature films such as Dil Dhadakne do. Coordinated by Zoya Akhtar and directed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, Dil Dhadakne is a satirical and dramatic film in which she plays a supporting character alongside Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Shefali Shah, Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma.
Although she is qualified for acting, she has not yet received any acting training. As a newcomer to the showbiz industry, she received a lot of support from the media and the public. Other works of Ridhima Sud include films- Satra Ko Shaadi Hai, Bunny, Kajarya, Ballad of Rustom. From taking part in a popular advertising campaign for the Pond Kaya brand to the successful ballad “Rustom” (an Oscar contender), Ridhima Sud is an old soul who has honed her skills over the years.
Ridhima Sud exit from Bollywood
When in social media comments a fan asked her about when is she planning to make a comeback in Bollywood, she replied “Lol, What’s Bollywood? Never heard of it”. This reply given by her was astonishing and everyone was curious about what she meant by that. Her fans and other people have made up theories about the reason behind such comment.
Few people say that she is irritated with the way Bollywood industry works and decided to exit it without giving any details, it could also be because she thinks less of Bollywood now and wouldn’t want to be associated with the scandalous industry. One can also assume that she never mentioned about quitting the movie industry but only referred to Bollywood in her reply. There is a chance that her fans can expect her in something other than Bollywood
