The Uttar Pradesh assembly elections are scheduled to be held next year. And with textbook accuracy, the opposition parties and the left-liberal media have started spreading false news to manufacture a rift between the UP Chief Minister and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ease their wobbly nerves and possibly instill a false sense of optimism amongst the party troops.

However, the PM on Sunday in three simple words broke the sustained ‘rift’ campaign and restored the parity. PM Modi took to Twitter to publicly praise the Yogi Adityanath government for a scheme by tweeting “Very good initiative! @myogiadityanath”, whilst sharing a report by ABP Live on the ‘Elderline’ project launched by the UP CM.

Reported by TFI, conspiracy theories had been abounding for the past many days of a possible rift between Yogi Adityanath and the BJP’s central leadership. Such rumours were only exacerbated on Saturday, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda were not seen extending public greetings to the UP-chief minister on his birthday. Leftists and those who are hoping for a BJP defeat in Uttar Pradesh had a field day as a consequence.

It was almost as if they believed the BJP was dropping Yogi Adityanath as the chief ministerial face of their campaign. Nothing else mattered to them. Liberals were just too happy to pay attention to the facts. The fact, however, is that the said national leaders have not been extending birthday greetings publicly for quite some time now.

Moreover, propaganda portals like The Wire claimed that RSS was trying to ‘defuse the tension brewing between Modi and Yogi’ while Deccan Herald reported that the UP politics was witnessing a “Yogi-Modi stand-off”.

BJP National Vice President and UP-in charge, Radha Mohan Singh further dented the hopes of the cabal by asserting that no cabinet reshuffle was scheduled in the UP government.

“As far as vacant seats are concerned, the chief minister will take a decision at an appropriate time.” He added that “BJP has the strongest organisation and most popular government in Uttar Pradesh”. When asked about the possibility of a cabinet reshuffle in the UP government by reporters, Singh dismissed the possibility as replied, “there is nothing like that”.

With the fake rift campaign coming to a screeching halt, the opposition and the partisan media will have to go back to the drawing board and think of another devious scheme to stop the Yogi Adityanath locomotive that is all set to steamroll the opposition, come 2022 assembly elections.
