Leftists with the help of Twitter, propagated fake news regarding the Loni incident, Yogi govt cracks down hard on them

Twitter,Yogi

Once the biggest strength of the leftists is now going to turn into one of their biggest weaknesses. Known for their calm precision and their cool acumen, the recent impatience of the left-liberals is making them into a laughing stock for not only India but the entire world. Recently, the way the leftists made a mountain of a molehill of a local fight in Loni, assisted by Twitter, was something for the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh, which not only hauled them over the locals but also whacked them black and blue with a clear-cut digital strike.

In what comes as a bold message to the Big Tech and their leftist cronies, the Yogi Adityanath government has lodged an FIR against Twitter and eight others including Saba Naqvi, Rana Ayyub and Mohammad Zubair – for deliberately stoking disharmony over the Loni incident. Twitter has been accused of not acting harshly against fake news despite multiple warnings by legal agencies.

Originally an old man named Abdul Samad was whacked black and blue by some miscreants in Loni near Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. However, this incident was deliberately given a communal colour, in which everyone, from Asaduddin Owaisi to Mohammad Zubair, Rahul Gandhi, and even people like Swara Bhaskar were involved as well.

Probably that is why Yogi Adityanath sent a stern message through his reply to Rahul Gandhi on Twitter. He said, “Prabhu Shri Ram’s first message has always been – Speak the Truth – Which You Never Did in Your Whole Life. You should be ashamed that despite the police clarifying the entire thing, you are continuing to spread venom throughout the society. In the lust for state, you are ashaming the entire humanity. Stop shaming the entire society of Uttar Pradesh.”

The intensity of the digital strike is such that so-called fact-checkers like Mohammad Zubair from Alt News ran away without even a tough fight. You won’t believe it, but he actually posted this for a tweet, “I’ve deleted the videos that I had posted. The victim’s version of him being forced to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ at this point in time do not seem to add up based on my conversations with police authorities and other journalists reporting on this issue.”

On an honest note, it seems that Twitter has invited their own trouble by deliberately provoking the government, both at the state and the centre. The way that they have assisted the over-enthusiastic leftists in promoting absolute fake news, they have only made the Modi government’s job a lot easier. In any war, the most basic rule is never following the expected line, and by doing it, Twitter is leading to its own doom.
