Prashant Bhushan, the ‘PIL-jeevi‘ of India, wants to instigate a health disaster in the country. Not a day passes when he does not tweet against vaccines and masks. Twitter often flags his posts as misleading but refrains from suspending his account.

At a time when the government is making every possible effort to accelerate vaccination and has spent millions of dollars to get rid of vaccine hesitancy among the masses, Prashant Bhushan is propagating the idea that vaccines are not only ineffective but also have negative effects.

“A lot of people including friends & family have accused me of promoting Vaccine hesitancy, let me clarify my position. I am not anti Vaccine per se. But I believe it is irresponsible to promote universal vaccination of experimental&untested vaccines esp to young & Covid recovered,” tweeted Bhushan with a news clipping in which a person claimed that vaccine killed his wife.

“The healthy young have hardly any chance of serious effects or dying due to covid. They have a higher chance of dying due to vaccines. The covid recovered have much better natural immunity, than the vaccine gives them. Vaccines may even compromise their acquired natural immunity,” Bhushan added.

Bhushan, overestimating his influence on the people and people’s concern for his life, said that “For the record, I have not taken, nor do I intend to take any Covid Vaccine”.

Previously a tweet by Bhushan was removed by Twitter because he asked the people to not wear masks as according to him, they are not effective. “The data suggest that facemasks are ineffective to block transmission of viral and infectious disease such as COVID-19. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects,” tweeted Bhushan, urging them to “read this detailed study on masks”.

Twitter is doing its job (although half because ideally, it should have suspended the account) by removing or flagging the content posted by Prashant Bhushan but the Indian government is not. Bhushan is a public enemy because he is openly asking people to defy the government’s orders and also telling them that if they follow the government’s orders, it will have adverse physiological and psychological effects.

Bhushan can be booked under many sections of the Indian Penal Code including for instigation of chaos. Thousands of scientific studies have proved that masks and vaccines are effective in controlling coronavirus and doctors around the world have recommended people to wear masks and get vaccinated. Moreover, even if masks and vaccines are not that effective, then, as the popular saying goes – “Precaution is better than cure”.

Bhushan needs to be thrown behind the bars as soon as possible because his freedom of speech, as well as physical freedom, is dangerous for the country.

It seems as if Prashant Bhushan wants to create unrest in the society and wants coronavirus to spread across the country so that he can take on the Modi government and make efforts to take it down. Lawyers like Prashant Bhushan thrive on the misery of the people and always argue for decisions that are against the welfare of the majority.

Anarchy-loving people like Bhushan thrive on chaos and want the society to remain unstable forever. Their contempt for the government of the day, irrespective of the party, makes them dangerous for a just and harmonious society and their place is behind the bars.
