Serum Institute of India (SII) CEO Adar Poonawalla has kick-started the phase one trial of a one-dose nasal coronavirus vaccine in the UK. The Downing Street confirmed the trials had indeed commenced and that as part of the India-UK Enhanced Trade Partnership, Poonawalla led SII had invested GBP 240 million in the UK to expand its vaccine business and set up a sales office in the country. The move by SII is expected to create thousands of jobs in the UK
“Serum has already started phase one trials in the UK of a one-dose nasal vaccine for coronavirus, in partnership with Codagenix INC,” said the Downing Street.
Unperturbed by the vicious hounding of the left-liberal cabal and opposition for the pricing as well as myriad other non-issues, Adar is busy making new breakthroughs and helping humanity by developing new vaccines and increasing the production capacity of the already existing vaccines.

Along with China-made pandemic, India seems to be fighting a misinformation pandemic of massive proportions. Reported by TFI, after reports trickled in suggesting that the Central government had not placed any new order for vaccines, both the Modi government and Serum Institute of India including Adar Poonawalla had to come out and rubbish such reports.
The Centre remarked that a 100 per cent advance of ₹1,732.50 crores was released to Serum Institute of India on April 28 for 11 crore doses of Covishield vaccine during May, June and July. Following the government’s rebuttal, Serum Institute of India while quoting the Health Ministry’s statement said: “We endorse this statement, & the authenticity of the information. We have been working closely with the Government of India for the past year & thank it for its support. We remain committed to ramping up our vaccine production to save every life we can.”

While the government is battling false news being disseminated by the vested interests groups, Adar Poonawalla is simultaneously receiving threats for the supply of the vaccines by the liberal militia gang.
On April 16, the director of SII, Prakash Kumar Singh, wrote to the ministry seeking security for Adar Poonawalla. In his letter, Singh mentioned that Poonawalla was getting threats from various people regarding the supply of Covid-19 vaccines. “We are working shoulder-to-shoulder to fight against Covid-19 pandemic with the government of India under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji,” the letter said.
As a result, the government had instantly provided Y-category security to the SII CEO, who is currently one of the most important persons on the planet.
Owing to the large population of India, SII has already assured that it will be able to increase its monthly vaccine production to 100 million doses by July this year. While the Covishield vaccine continues to help save lives, the news of the commencement of first phase trials of the one dose nasal vaccine should be another breakthrough for the scientific community. If the vaccine passes the three-phase trials, it could prove to be a game-changer as smaller and poorer countries will benefit immensely from its use.
