The Congress party’s toolkit, which was aimed at defaming India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to have claimed its first casualty in the form of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. A staunch Gandhi loyalist, Baghel seems personally hurt with the kind of anger which is being directed towards Congress due to the BJP daring to expose its anti-national and shameless shenanigans. In his overzealousness to impress the Gandhis, Bhupesh Baghel seems to have shot himself in the foot. The whole country knows what was contained in Congress’ toolkit, and by trying to come to the Congress’ rescue, Baghel has made a suicidal move.
Effectively, Bhupesh Baghel has tried to defend the indefensible and mount an offensive against those who dared to expose the Congress’ little secret. In the latest news, Chhattisgarh police has filed an FIR against BJP leaders Sambit Patra and Dr Raman Singh for exposing the toolkit which Congress would rather want hidden. The FIR was filed at Raipur’s Civil Line Police Station on Wednesday after the National Students Union of India (NSUI) lodged a complaint against the two senior BJP leaders.

The police are said to have lodged the FIR on the complaint filed by NSUI Chhattisgarh State President Akash Sharma and State Youth Congress President Koko Padhi under IPC section 504, 505, 188 and 469. According to the Free Press Journal, both the Congress leaders alleged that the Ex-CM Dr Raman Singh and BJP National Spokesperson tried to defame the Congress party by tweeting the fake letterhead of the Congress Party.

The BJP responded via a tweet, with the party’s official handle of the Chhattisgarh unit saying, “Protection to anti nationals and jail to patriots, this is what Chhattisgarh has become, the chief minister of which is Bhupesh Baghel.”

It goes without saying that the move to lodge FIRs against BJP leaders has the tacit approval of the Chhattisgarh chief minister, or rather, is his handiwork entirely. However, what Bhupesh Baghel fails to realise is that he is standing in defence of a party, which evidently has not shied away from sacrificing India’s reputation and image at the altar of political pettiness. The people of India will never forgive Bhupesh Baghel for trying to silence those who sought to bring the Congress’ demonic behaviour out in the open. Already unpopular within the state of Chhattisgarh, Baghel seems to be adamant about ensuring that he never wins the trust of the people.
In a toolkit meant for inner-party circulation alone, which has now spilt out into the public domain, the Congress party has been exposed for asking its volunteers, workers and supporters to defame the Modi government. The party has also been caught trying to block access to hospital beds across the nation – which can be used by its Youth Wing upon the need to ‘help’ people who ask for assistance from the party.
Only the other day we had BV Srinivas, President IpYC showing off the nobility of the Congress in its service to Covid patients by hoarding and supplying the zcarce medicines etc but he never thought that the background truth of the ‘service’would be out so soon!
