Trinamool Congress (TMC) and its rabid radical leaders have been coming after the central deployed forces through the course of the elections. Now, in an undated video, released by BJP leader Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga, Firhad Hakim, a TMC leader can be seen hurling expletives towards the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Hakim allegedly called CISF jawans and opposition party BJP as pigs and piglets (Suawr ka bacchha) while canvassing in an open jeep.
While addressing a roadshow, Firhad Hakim, the former Kolkata Mayor could be heard as saying, “BJP suwar baccha bole jacchi (BJP is the progeny of pigs),” before adding “Jab BJP aayega, toh suwar ke baccha ko pehela maaro (If the BJP, the progenies of pigs come here, then, assault them first.)” The TMC leader added, “Where will you go? Thrash them. Beat the progeny of pigs.”

“They brought the CISF (Central Industrial Security Forces), Rail police and shooed away my mason. Let the elections get over. Then, our Central Investigation Department (CID) will take action against the ‘progeny of pigs’ (suawr ka bacha) CISF “, the TMC leader was seen telling his followers and the general public.

Expecting TMC leaders to show any shard of decency to the centrally deployed forces can only be a utopian dream when the supremo of the party herself has foul-mouthed the forces on several occasions. The small party leaders are simply following her lead.
Reported by TFI, Mamata Banerjee during an election rally in Nandigram had resorted to making threatening remarks to the non-TMC voters of the state.
“I keep knowledge of every inch of the elections. After the election, the security personnel sent by the central government will go back, but if our government is formed then the BJP supporters will plead with folded hands for the central security forces to be stationed for a few more days so that they (BJP supporters) could be saved,” said Mamata Banerjee.
Recently, the Election Commission deflated Mamata Banerjee’s bogus claim of centrally deployed forces not allowing people to vote during phase-2 of the elections. In its response to Mamata’s letter, the EC has said that allegations made against Border Security Force (BSF) jawans deployed at the Boyal polling station in Nandigram were “far from the truth”.
“There is no evidence at all to suggest that the BSF jawans who were deployed at the polling station, indulged in any inappropriate behaviour. Moreover, the complaint that they did not allow the voters to go inside the booth is far from the truth.” said the EC.
Firhad Hakim is a radical Islamist who in the past has called one of the Muslim-dominated areas of Kolkata as ‘Mini-Pakistan.’ His aforementioned statements merely show the frustration that TMC leaders are going through — unable to rig the elections in the presence of CISF and other security forces.
