The Yogi Adityanath government has come down heavy on the illegal Rohingya immigrants who had encroached upon the land owned by UP’s irrigation Department, here in Delhi’s Madanpur Khadar. According to media reports, the Yogi administration on Wednesday morning pressed several JCB’s into service and demolished the illegal structures on the land, which is estimated to be worth several crores.
Dr Mahendra Singh, the Jal Shakti minister in the Yogi cabinet took to Twitter to share the video of demolition and captioned, “Action initiated against the land mafia in Delhi’s Madanpur Khadar by UP Irrigation department after orders from the honourable CM Yogi Adityanath”

Reported by TFI last year in May, an illegal Rohingya camp was reported to have come upon the 5.2 acres-land belonging to the aforementioned UP-Irrigation Department, right opposite the Madanpur Khadar cremation ground. No sooner the camp had come up, over 300 illegal immigrants magically started receiving relief material and other amenities from the AAP government.
The Dainik Bhaskar report which first brought the issue to light had alleged that the Kejriwal-led Delhi government and local AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan were the one’s supplying ration to the Rohingya immigrants. The illegal aliens were also reported to have indulged in power theft, apart from illegally installing boring facilities for water supply.
Locals had alleged that Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan had systematically settled the illegal immigrants coming from Myanmar on this land and was looking to turn them into his potential vote bank in the future elections.
Dainik Jagran has also reported former South-east Delhi MP Mahesh Giri as saying that he had written to Delhi Police for removal of Rohingya immigrants, but Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan had then objected to such removal. Giri has also alleged that the AAP MLA got Aadhar and Voter ID cards made for the Rohingya immigrants on his own letterheads.
Rohingya immigrants are seen as a security threat and the Centre has also been looking to deport illegal Rohingya immigrants from India, and in 2017 the Centre had also told the Supreme Court that the illegal Rohingya immigrants pose a security threat.
But the Kejriwal government in Delhi has no qualms about aiding the Rohingya immigrants and earlier this month, the Kejriwal government disclosed before the Delhi High Court that it was providing “adequate ration” to the Rohingya immigrants.
Reported by TFI, a video had gone viral at the same time when Amanatullah was offering free ration to the Rohingyas. In the video, residents of Sarita Vihar could be seen lamenting the fact that they were turned away by the goons of Khan masquerading as ration distributors because they did not vote for him in the elections.

AAP and its MLAs have always had a sweet spot for the illegal immigrants. The likes of Amanatullah use these aliens for their nefarious purposes when they have to ignite flames of anarchy and violence across the capital as it was seen in the North East Delhi riots last year.
However, the Yogi Adityanath government, which has already set a template in dealing with the rioters is now dealing with an iron fist with the land mafias as well. There are several other land spots of the UP-irrigation department in Delhi that have been encroached illegally and CM Yogi Adityanath has issued orders to free every single acre of them.
AAP is huge threat to country, people should wake up from deep sleep.
