To blame Yogi Government, Priyanka misquotes a farmer whose dues have been paid in full. The farmer exposes Priyanka

It is almost as if the brother-sister duo of Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi is locked in a bitter fight about who can embarrass the Indian National Congress the most. After Rahul Gandhi displayed his umpteen intellect during his visit to Puducherry by claiming that there’s no Union Ministry for Fisheries, Priyanka Gandhi stole the lead in embarrassing the INC by misquoting a UP farmer whose dues have been paid in full in a desperate bid to blame the Yogi Adityanath government. In fact, the farmer quoted by Priyanka exposed her lies.

Yesterday, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra took to Twitter to claim that Alok Mishra’s dues worth Rs 6 lakh have been pending.

“Alok Mishra, a farmer of Lakhimpur Kheri, has not received a cane payment of Rs 6 lakh. He had to take a loan of 3 lakh for farming, treatment etc. This is the condition of millions of farmers of UP due to payment of 10,000 crores. The promise of payment and income doubling in 14 days came out to be a Jumla,” tweeted Priyanka Gandhi in Hindi.

Earlier she had stated that the three news farm laws would benefit the BJP’s “millionaire friends.” “The reality of the three black agricultural laws related to agriculture is that the BJP has made them for the benefit of the millionaire friends, ignoring the interest of the farmers,” said Priyanka in a tweet.

However, the farmer in question, Alok Mishra was quick to puncture Priyanka Gandhi’s claims. Accusing Gandhi of playing politics, Mishra said, “Priyanka Gandhi has not read the news completely.”

He added, “This was last year’s. Probably Priyanka ji has not read the news properly. Last year, it was pending… Because of the pandemic, the payment was delayed. But it is now settled.”

Due to this lack of effort, the Congress’ fortunes in Uttar Pradesh are continuously dwindling despite Priyanka Gandhi camping out of there. During the Lok Sabha elections, Priyanka Gandhi campaigned in 31 seats with the INC having lost 30 of them, bringing her success rate to a meagre 3%.

Among the UP seats where Priyanka campaigned and lost include, Daurarha, Barabanki, Unnao, Kanpur, Jhansi, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Kushi Nagar, Sultanpur, Bhadohi, Dumariaganj, Basti, Fatehpur and Sant Kabir Nagar.

The Gandhis are increasingly becoming a liability and are threatening to sink the INC. This was visible when, much-like Rahul Gandhi, his sister Priyanka Gandhi misquoted a farmer and tried to spread lies about the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh. However, Congress leaders are simply refusing to wake up and smell the coffee.
