Congress, NCP, RJD and other parties now hate Sachin Tendulkar from the bottom of their hearts

Days after cricketing legend and Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar took to his Twitter handle to stand by India in face of an international campaign waged against the country by Khalistani and vested interest organisations, political parties which have been reduced to irrelevance deemed it fit to grab the headlines by ridiculing, insulting and trying to school Tendulkar. At the forefront of the said campaign against Sachin are parties like the Congress, NCP and RJD – who have not particularly liked the fact that Sachin Tendulkar too can make use of his free speech rights.

The offensive against Tendulkar came in the backdrop of him standing for his country, and tweeting, “India’s sovereignty cannot be compromised. External forces can be spectators but not participants. Indians know India and should decide for India. Let’s remain united as a nation.”

This was in response to star celebrities from across the world, mostly entitled brats from the West, having a conscience shakeup and tweeting in support of the fake farmers protesting on the borders of Delhi. Leading the pack of such celebrities and influencers were pop star Rihanna, eco-fascist Greta Thunberg, and porn star Mia Khalifa.

The cricketing legend standing with his country in face of a paid campaign to besmirch India’s name did not go down well with many opposition parties. The Congress party, for instance, which has ruled India for a greater part of its independent history, had its youth workers in Kerala pour black oil on a cut-out poster of Tendulkar in Kochi.

Congress MP from Punjab, Jasbir Gill went on to say that the former batsman, who brought innumerable laurels to the country, should not have received the Bharat Ratna – India’s highest civilian award.

“Sachin Tendulkar is not worthy of Bharat Ratna. He tweeted in favour of the government only because he wanted something in return. He just wanted to get his son Arjun selected in the IPL. I want to leave it to the public to decide whether this man deserves Bharat Ratna,” the Congress MP said.

Meanwhile, the NCP, which is currently at the helm of affairs in Maharashtra in an alliance with the Congress and Shiv Sena had, no less than its patriarch – Sharad Pawar schooling Tendulkar about how he should go about his life. Pawar also took to telling Sachin as to what he should say in public.

NCP’s senior leader Sharad Pawar ‘advised’ Sachin Tendulkar to exercise caution while speaking about any other field as many people have reacted sharply to the stand taken by Indian celebrities on farmers’ protests.

The RJD, which recently lost to the BJP-JD(U) combine in Bihar also shared its two bits on the matter. RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari on Friday alleged that the Union government “fielded” Sachin Tendulkar to “counter” international personalities who recently commented on the ongoing farmers’ protests, and said it was an insult to the nation.

“Farmers do not know about Twitter. This Twitter politics has started recently and everyone is doing it. What do the farmers know about Greta Thunberg or Rihanna? And you have fielded Sachin Tendulkar against them,” the RJD leader said. Much like the Congress, Tiwari also said that Tendulkar did not deserve the Bharat Ratna.

“Tendulkar is a brand ambassador of several products and did not deserve to get Bharat Ratna. There are many deserving people like Dhyanchand who should have got it,” the RJD leader said.

It is evident that Sachin Tendulkar is now the prime target of India’s opposition parties, simply because he decided to stand by his country and defend it while telling foreign celebrities to mind their own business.

It is evident that Sachin Tendulkar is now the prime target of India’s opposition parties like RJD, NCP, and Congress, simply because he decided to stand by his country and defend it while telling foreign celebrities to mind their own business. For parties whose political stoves are ignited right now, simply because of the international campaign being waged against India, Tendulkar’s nationalism is obviously an eyesore like no other.
