Yogi most popular CM and Uddhav nowhere in the list, Mamata settles at 4th spot, India Today’s MOTN survey reveals a lot

Yogi, Mamata, Uddhav

India Today released its biennial ‘Mood of The Nation’ (MOTN) poll, the first one in 2021 on Friday and the results have come as a shock to the entire left-liberal cabal. According to the India Today-Karvy Insights MOTN survey, the talismanic Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath secured 24 percent of the total votes (6 percentage points up from the last survey) – thereby becoming “the best CM” for the third time in a row.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee who in the past had been ranked as the number one CM slipped to the fourth position (with 9 percent votes) after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal (15 percent votes) and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy (11 percent votes).

In the same survey held last year, Yogi Adityanath had won the contest with 18 percent votes and had defeated joint runners-up Arvind Kejriwal and Mamata Banerjee, who could only secure 11 percent votes each.

The survey might have caused a whole lot of heartburn to the secular media as Yogi is more often than not the target of all the nastiness and horridness that channels like India Today, themselves hurl his way.

Yogi tends to digress from the routine and dares to do what other CM’s in his place refused to do — thereby he is under constant scrutiny by the left-liberal media. However, the public sees through it all, and therefore he has been coronated as the best CM once again.

While Yogi was winning accolades in the survey, it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who once again emerged as the tallest leader in the country. According to the survey results, almost three-fourth of the citizens of the country who participated in the survey were happy about the Modi government’s handling of the economic crisis.

The MOTN survey found that 73 percent of Indians are satisfied with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country. The survey said that 23 percent of respondents said it was outstanding, while 50% found it good. In terms of approval ratings, PM Modi seems to enjoy the approval of 74% of Indians, only a marginal dip from the 78% found in the August 2020 survey.

As the survey results were announced, the self-proclaimed Congress lobbyist, Rajdeep Sardesai had a tough time digesting the numbers released by his own channel. A baffled and shocked Sardesai took to Twitter to express his surprise over the MOTN survey that gave a resounding appreciation to the Modi government for the way it handled the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent economic fallout.

When the pressure from the left-liberal and the secular cabal became too overbearing for the India Today anchor; Sardesai in his rather coward style of saying ‘Shubh Ratri’ and running away — flew the scene.

Contrary to what the left-liberal cabal conjures up in cauldrons of the Twitter echo chambers, the ground reality is starkly different. The common folks still place their trust in the likes of Yogi Adityanath and Narendra Modi, for they are the only standout leaders who have risen to the occasion and carried the nation through the tumultuous last one year with utmost poise and grace. Such was the authority of the two leaders that even India Today could not fudge the survey numbers, as Sardesai’s disappointment graced our Twitter timelines.
