An FIR has been registered against Amitabh Bachchan and the makers of the show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 12’ for hurting Hindu Sentiments. Abhimanyu Pawar, BJP legislator from Ausa in Latur district, in a complaint to Latur SP Nikhil Pingle said that action should be taken against Amitabh Bachchan and Sony Entertainment Television as they have hurt the sentiments and tried to create a rift between Hinduism and Buddhism- two Dharmic religions.

“There was an attempt to insult Hindus and create discord between Hindus and Buddhists who have been living in harmony,” Mr Pawar tweeted, posting a copy of his two-page letter to the police official.
In an episode, in which ‘social activist’ Bezwada Wilson and actor Anup Soni were on the ‘hot seat,’ opposite Amitabh Bachchan, who asked the following question, worth 6.40 lakh rupees:
On 25th December 1927, Dr BR Ambedkar and his followers burned copies of which scripture?
Options: (A) Vishnu Purana (B) Bhagavad Gita, (C) Rigved and (D) Manusmriti.
Amitabh Bachchan then said, “In 1927, Dr Ambedkar condemned the ancient Hindu text Manusmriti to ideologically justify caste discrimination and untouchability and burned its copies.”
Amitabh Bachchan, the host of the show, probably wanted to impress social activist Bezwada Wilson, who constantly attacks Hinduism and caste system in his speeches and commentaries. Bezwada is also a Magsaysay awardee, in the same league with Ravish Kumar.
A look on the Twitter timeline of Bezwada Wilson reveals his hatred towards Hinduism and the Modi government. In his latest tweet, Wilson wrote on Hathras case, quoting a handle named ‘Coalition against Fascism in India’.

“I have struggled all the way to wriggle out of my caste identity and to annihilate caste. We have been exploring ways and means to destroy the two viruses — caste and male chauvinism, and no one is thinking of these things,” said Wilson, in an interview with The Hindu.
However, the attempt to impress Wilson backfired against Amitabh Bachchan as an FIR is registered against him now.

It seems KBC has been hijacked by the leftists as a few weeks ago it declared Kanhaiya Kumar, Jignesh Mevani, Hardik Patel as youth leaders. Now it has started insulting Hindus, that too with stupid and half-backed arguments. Manusmriti, also known as Mānava-Dharmaśāstra or Laws of Manu, is a smriti text (that which is remembered). Smriti texts are not essential to Hinduism, unlike Srutis (that which is heard) which are authorless and essential to Hinduism.
Everyone who considers himself a Hindu can write a Smriti text as per their own ideological and philosophical orientation and the Hindu King or Hindu society is not bound to follow these rules. So, Manusmriti is a philosophy of Manu on how human society should be governed. Moreover, it is far from being an evil text that it is projected to be in English translations by Western Orientalists who do not have even functional knowledge of Hinduism. Identifying Hinduism with Manusmriti is like reading only Ayn Rand to understand Capitalism.
Smriti texts were being produced by Hindus as late as the 16th century and books like Arthasastra, Kamasutra, Yogasutra qualify as smriti texts. Therefore, to blame Hinduism for the philosophy of a single person, that too on translations by Orientalists, is nothing but an insult to the whole Hindu community. And Amitabh Bachchan is doing exactly that. Rajiv Malhotra, the Author of Breaking India forces, has already exposed how the Western translators with little or no knowledge of Hinduism try to defame the religion. Amitabh Bachchan must be arrested and legal action should be taken against the actor for hurting the sentiments of the Hindu Community.
