The mask has been pulled off unceremoniously from Umar Khalid’s face who for quite some time now, has been projecting himself as the prime example of a left-leaning atheist. TFI was among the first to explain how Umar Khalid, contrary to popular belief, was no atheist, but in fact, a hardcore Islamist. The same has now been testified by the Delhi Police’s special cell, which, in its supplementary charge sheet filed in the Northeast Delhi anti-Hindu riots case has revealed that Umar Khalid is merely a pretentious atheist and that in reality, the Islamist is aimed at destroying the Indian state to establish a Muslim ummah in the country by 2020 instead.
Umar Khalid carried his “atheism as pretence” and instead believed that “violent political Islam must be blended with frontal political parties to take on the Indian State,” the Indian Express reported. Khalid has been called a “veteran of sedition” in the supplementary charge sheet; even while submissions against JNU student Sharjeel Imam (called a “detonator”) and Faizan Khan too have been made. Umar Khalid had been arrested for playing a pivotal role in organising the anti-Hindu riots of Delhi in February this year.
The charge sheet stated that Khalid used his political acumen “knowing full well that Indian Muslims will never subscribe to the perverted definition of Islam”. Police stated that “Bangladeshi and Rohingya immigrants were the easiest to locate and use because of their socio-economic disadvantages and ghettoised living in the national capital”. Khalid, according to the charge sheet, was the “convergence point of the twin lines of Pan-Islamica and Ultra-Left anarchism which had incubated, nurtured and propagated the common conspiracy, all squarely aimed at violent subjugation of the Government”.
Importantly, the charge sheet also dissected the source of such a radical mindset harboured by Umar Khalid, which makes him look at the Indian state and Hindus with absolute hate. Police have said Khalid has two “mutually reinforcing lines of thought”. One in which he followed the “template passed on to him in legacy by his father” and the second being “the ultra-left ideological space where he was trying to match up and at times overshadow the likes of Yogendra Yadav”.

Projecting himself as an anti-BJP and anti-Hindutva crusader, Umar Khalid reached the pinnacle of his temporary intellectual limelight, gifted to him in abundance by the country’s foolish liberals prior to the anti-Hindu riots he masterminded. Ever since his career as a freeloading revolutionary has been in freefall. On all issues, Umar stood at loggerheads with the government. Umar Khalid projected himself as a far-left atheist, despising the very concept of God and religion.
Yet, the man found fault with Hindus alone. When the mask fell off from his face, and he took to preach about the noble virtues of the Prophet while deriding Hindutva, Indians began realising the fraud that Umar Khalid was. However, those who realised the same were in any case not particularly fond of the man. As he, incomplete contestation of what a far-left atheist stands for, took to sing laurels about the Prophet and Islam, Indians laughed it off, recognising what a duplicitous mad man they were, unfortunately, dealing with.
Umar Khalid’s grand plans of turning India into an Islamic state have been nipped in the bud by the Modi government. The Delhi Police, meanwhile, is now exposing the man on a daily basis for his teenage-fantasies. As a matter of fact, Umar Khalid is merely one rotten fruit of a demented orchard. Sharjeel Imam, Shehla Rashid and the ilk are all hardened Islamists masquerading as atheists. Their time to be exposed as such will soon be coming as well.
