Islamist group PFI’s fingerprints are all over the Hathras case

PFI, Hathras

The Uttar Pradesh police have arrested four activists of Popular Front of India–Kerala based radical Islamist group which is banned in many states of the country–in the Hathras case. These four were identified as Atiq-ur Rehman of Muzaffarnagar, Siddique of Malappuram, Masood Ahmed of Bahraich and Alam of Rampur.

The activists were moving towards Hathras from Delhi when UP Police nabbed them at Mathura Toll Plaza. These four activists were allegedly involved in inciting violence in Hathras case. They have been locked in Mathura jail, and the Enforcement Directorate–the financial crime investigation of the Union government–is questioning the PFI activists on how they sourced money to incite violence.

Talking to reporters, ADG law and order Prashant Kumar said, “Police had received information that some suspicious persons were going from Delhi towards Hathras, after which suspicious vehicles were checked at Math Toll Plaza, Mathura on Monday. During this time a Swift Desire (DL01ZC 1203) was stopped and four youths were interrogated, they came to know about their relationship with PFI and their associate organization CFI.”

PFI was instrumental in instigating anti-CAA riots in Uttar Pradesh and now the Islamist organization was trying to do the same through Hathras case. The Yogi Adityanath government has repeatedly asked for a ban on the Kerala based Islamist outfit which has now spread its arms throughout India.

As per a report by News18 Uttar Pradesh, the opposition and left-liberals establishment tried to create caste tension through social media and instigate riots like in the United States after the death of George Floyd.

The plot to replicate what the Islamists and Urban Naxals had done in the anti-CAA protests was already prepared but the UP government treated with caution and put a complete ban on the entry of outsiders in the village and later referred the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation.

This was a surgical strike on the plans of the opposition and left-liberal establishment to instigate caste riots in Uttar Pradesh and destroy the social fabric of the society. The Yogi government turned out to be too smart for the conspirators this time. And now, one by one, every conspirator is being banned by the UP Police.

The Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government has always been at the target of the opposition and the whole left-liberal establishment. Given the fact that Yogi Adityanath is one of the tallest BJP leaders and a potential Prime Ministerial candidate, the opposition has tried to target him and his government right from the day he took oath as CM of Uttar Pradesh in 2017.
