A scaredy-cat Imran Khan is trying to plaster a brave face in the wake of a looming army coup as Saudi Arabia and Pakistan Army Chief come together to hatch a plan to bid adieu the Prime Minister who has taken a hara-kiri road by ditching its previous master Saudi Arabia and lying prostrate in servitude to Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to media reports, Pak PM Imran Khan has said that he would have sacked the army chief had the Kargil war with India started without informing him. The aforementioned statement might sound harmless to the layman but in context of the current predicament being faced by Imran Khan, the anti-army statement is more or less, a pressing of the panic button.
The reason for Imran’s veiled attack at the Army Chief is the recent visit of Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa to Saudi Arabia.
Imran Khan and his minions had foolishly picked up a fight against their once traditional ally Saudi Arabia which didn’t go down well with the leaders in middle-east.
After Pakistan Foreign Minister Qureshi’s remarks which threatened Saudi Arabia, the relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have almost reached a point of no return. In August, Qureshi had an outburst on live television as the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) refused to take up Paksiatn’s demands to hold a Foreign Minister’s meet to discuss the Kashmir issue and the abrogation of Article 370.
Qureshi gave an ultimatum to Saudi Arabia, saying that Pakistan will have to look for other options if the OIC doesn’t come forward in support of its stance on Kashmir, inadvertently threatening Saudi Arabia who leads the chair in OIC, a 57-member organization.
Consequently, Army Chief Qamar Bajwa frantically reached Riyadh in order to ease the rift between the two countries. Bajwa had reached Riyadh without any government official accompanying him to meet the top echelon leaders of the Muslim world which at the time had encouraged the rumor-mills to speculate about an impending coup which apparently had the blessing of the Arab world.
His visit was a clear indication that the Pakistan Army didn’t echo the views of Imran Khan going servile in front of Turkey, which funnily enough is only trying to fleece Pakistan.

Khan also said that he would sack the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief if the latter asked him to resign. After Army, if any institution has the number to run the bureaucracy of the terrorist state, then it’s none other than ISI and Khan is sweating at the prospect of having to face two internal enemies on two different fronts.
The powerful army, which has ruled Pakistan for more than half of its 70 plus years of existence is now moving in for the kill. Pak PM is frightened out of his wits and him making anti-army remarks should be seen as an indication of the grim future he is staring down the barrel.
