China has ventured in a landmine ridden Pakistan, one wrong step and it will be blown to pieces

China got in the bed with Pakistan in the hope to surround its nemesis India and carry out its nefarious plans in the subcontinent region. However, what China and its leader Xi Jinping forgot to include in its calculations was the fact that at the end of the day, Pakistan is a country of rabid fundamentalists, run by an incompetent leader like Imran Khan who is presumably a stooge of the Pakistan Army and ISI. And now it looks like, China has ventured into a landmine-ridden region and the fanatics of Pakistan are looking to take full advantage of the Chinese and their Yuan.

As reported by TFI, Pakistan’s Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Friday blocked TikTok, saying the Chinese app had failed to comply with the government’s instructions for “development of an effective mechanism for proactive moderation of unlawful online,”

However, PTA also added that the step was taken after the authority received a number of complaints from different segments of the society against immoral and indecent content on the video-sharing application.

The fundamentalists of Pakistan had forced the government to keep the Mosques open around the country even when Mecca was closed during the peak of Coronavirus. Hence, it would not be difficult to presume that they applied the pressure on Imran Khan who succumbed to their demands.

The banning of the app might have come as a shock to Pakistan’s Chinese masters who wouldn’t have seen it coming. As predicted earlier by TFI, Islamabad will now try to leverage the banning of TikTok to receive fresh loans from Beijing after its original benefactor Saudi Arabia snatched the lollipop from its hands.

One also needs to understand the charged political landscape in Pakistan currently which is putting enormous pressure on the Imran Khan Niazi government.

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif along with the opposition parties is on a mission to take on the Pakistan Army and its stooge Imran Khan. And while Sharif has been indicted in lengthy court proceedings courtesy Imran Khan’s vendetta politics, it looks like the former premier has found a way to bring Imran Khan to his knees.

The opposition alliance of 11 parties is being led by Fazlur Rehman, a firebrand Islamist cleric turned politician, not exactly known for his progressive views and he might have had a hand in the banning of Tik Tok.

Once the iron brothers or perhaps, friends with benefits, China and Pakistan are divided over the Baloch Liberation Army. The biggest challenge before Pakistan is the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) – an organization engaged in a struggle for freeing Balochistan from Pakistani occupation. Active in the Balochistan province, including the port city of Gwadar, BLA has not only been fighting Pakistani occupiers but also hurting Chinese investments in the region with CPEC being the biggest victim.

As explained earlier, China has stepped on a landmine, the moment it steps back, Pakistan will show its hostile, terror-sponsoring side to China.

So far, Imran Khan has been able to hush down the voices of protest against China and its unethical treatment of Uyghur Muslims in the Xinjiang province. Pakistan, which considers itself a leader of the Islamic world has been uncharacteristically mum on the Uyghur Muslim genocide issue and if China tries to pull back its hand, then the fury of fundamentalists could be unleashed upon it.

Pakistan has started to cause problems for China and the unholy alliance of the two seems to be in jeopardy. The Islamists and the fundamentalists of the terrorist state have reached the tipping point where they only want to fleece China and if the communist state refuses to do so then it could have dangerous repercussions in store. Unlike other countries where China uses its debt-trap diplomacy to clip the wings of the bureaucracy of a country, Pakistan is a different ball-game altogether. The fundamentalists wearing their suicide-vests won’t hesitate for a second in taking down the communists of China and therefore Xi Jinping must tread lightly in the diabolical country.
