China’s man Asgar Ali is the actual prime minister of Nepal, Oli is just a glorified signatory

Nepal, PM, Oli,

A sensational report has come into light that reveals the dark secrets of Nepal Prime Minister KP Oli and unravels who pulls the real strings behind the curtains to run the horror-show that has been unfurling in the Himalayan country for the better part of last six months. According to a Nepalese news-portal named Khabarhub.com, Nepal PM KP Sharma Oli’s IT consultant, Asgar Ali has been executing “illegal business” ranging from collecting information illegally to hacking news portals, all done taking advantage of the closeness to the ailing PM.

The report citing Security sources claim that activities like data hoarding by unscrupulous people like Ali may compromise individual privacy for monetary gains and the authoritarian regime of China could misuse it for mass surveillance. As per the report, he also pressurized several key departments seeking data and other information.

Citing security sources, the report said Ali took to “intimidating the chiefs of the Passport Department, Labor Department, Transport Department (including information of driving licenses), National Identity Card Management Center, Immigration Department and other government bodies seeking all data and other information”.

The Huawei connection

The report further states that Ali’s companies are involved in the contract of more than Rs 20 billion besides involving in illegal transactions with alien forces, mainly China, to capture the digital domain.

“Ali, most likely, has some connection with the Chinese and the controversial Huawei Company,” the source said adding that Ali’s trade and business soared to a new height immediately after he was appointed as PM Oli’s IT Consultant.

Ali has been making covert-China backed initiation to introduce 5G service in Nepal to provide “steering to Huawei Company in an effort to control Nepal’s communication system.”

Asgar Ali works in the shadows and conducts clandestine and behind-the-scene dealings, which have dragged the spineless Nepalese government into controversies, one after another.

Behind the scenes murky medical equipment deals and stealing of government data

Asgar, since he was appointed PM Oli’s IT advisor, has courted controversies particularly making murky deals.

In April, Asgar had come under the scanner for awarding a tender worth Rs 1.25 billion contracts to Omni Business Corporate Group to procure medical equipment in an inflated rate and that too without competitive bidding process from China

Asgar’s pot of controversy has been filled up to the brim, much before his accession to the coveted post of Oli’s IT consultant.

In 2016, Asgar was found stealing information from the government portal illegally and for his personal benefit, as the CEO of e-SEWA, an online payment gateway which was found involved in the illegal promotion of Bitcoin transaction– the transaction Nepal Rastra Bank regarded illegal.

However, Ali managed to evade the clutches of Nepal Rastra Bank using his closeness to the Prime Minister.

One of the police officials involved in the investigation of the case complained that it was not fair to take the investigation and prosecution procedure ahead just on the verdict of Ali, who should have been treated as an alleged in this case.

This is not the first time that a CCP mole masquerading as a high-level official in the Nepalese bureaucracy has come into the light.

Previously, the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi has been accused of running a parallel government with Oli and overseeing China’s influence in the Himalayan country.

The Chinese Ambassador has been meeting and counselling several Nepal Communist Party leaders including PM Oli himself, his adversaries- Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal, and the

Nepalese President Bidhya Devi Bhandari. All her meetings are based on a single agenda- “Party must not break, doesn’t matter whoever the PM, removing Oli will send signals that India won.”

The Chinese interference in Nepal’s political affairs is amongst the grossest violations of the diplomatic code of conduct. And Beijing is not even trying to keep it under the wraps. When the Nepalese media asked the Chinese embassy spokesperson about the objective of Hou Yanqi’s meetings, the spokesperson almost made it clear that Beijing wants a puppet regime in Nepal.

Now another stooge of the CCP regime has emerged in Nepal who is doing the entire backhand shady deals at the behest of KP Oli and plunging the country deep into crisis.

The ailing Communist Prime Minister of Nepal is driving the country off a cliff into the abyss of nothingness. China is having it real easy in turning the landlocked country into one of its colony.
