Kerala has been infamous for having a Communist regime that has a hobby of poking its nose into the affairs of Hindus and their temples. There is, however, a difference between interfering in the affairs of Hindu temples and completely razing all autonomy enjoyed by them, if at all. The CPI-M government of Kerala has employed itself to do the latter. If filling posts of the five Devaswom Boards meant to administrate temples in “God’s Own Country” with Communists, and shamelessly extracting money from Hindu temples was not enough, the state of Kerala is now also reportedly dictating Hindu temples as to what languages are to be taught in educational institutions which are run by the Travancore Devaswom Board.
According to Organiser, the Travancore Devaswom Board is all set to appoint Arabic teachers in schools which come under its management in Kerala. The board has already published a rank list. TDB controls temples mainly in South Kerala. According to the list, the Devaswom Board has selected four candidates to teach Arabic in its various schools. The Board will also fill the teaching vacancies for subjects like Mathematics, Music, Social Science, Hindi etc.
Travancore Devaswom Board is allegedly an ‘autonomous’ body constituted under the Travancore Cochin Hindu Religious Institutions Act XV of 1950, although its actions now prove that it has been shackled by Communists in the state. It is entrusted with the task of administrating 1248 temples in the erstwhile princely state of Travancore comprised in the State of Kerala.
However, while the Communist state of Kerala and its puppets in the Travancore Devaswom Board feel secularly obligated to employ Arabic teachers and impart knowledge of a foreign language upon Indians in the state, primarily Hindus, Sanskrit – India’s civilizational language continues to be ignored, as no appointments have been made by the Communist-controlled board to hire Sanskrit teachers. We are not even taking into account yet the outrage which leftists and liberals will exhibit if Sanskrit were taught to students, in the way that Arabic is being done in the state of Kerala.
It is yet to be ascertained as to what the need is for teaching Arabic in Kerala. We can think of only one reason – Islamisation, blatant and unapologetic. Why would educational institutions impart Arabic knowledge, out of all other Indian languages? India is a treasure trove when it comes to languages. Yet, the state-controlled Travancore Devaswom Board deems it fit to further Islamisation in schools managed by it. It’s a mind-numbing betrayal. That the Communist government of Kerala can dictate its will over the various Devaswom boards of the state is truly outrageous, not to mention an outright insult to temples.
