What Insanity! Yogi Govt will be giving funds to Anubhav Sinha and Swara Bhasker for promoting UP

Yogi Govt should think again!

Yogi, Swara Bhaskar, Anubhav Sinha

In what has come as a shocking and disappointing development, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has cleared monetary fund grants for rabid and vile Hindu-haters, the likes of which include Anubhav Sinha and part-time actor Swara Bhaskar. Both Anubhav Sinha’s film ‘Article 15’ and Swara Bhaskar starrer ‘Nil Battey Sannatta’ have been cleared for grants of financial incentives.

According to a report by The Economic Times, the Yogi government has cleared the scripts of 22 films who are all set to receive funds for the Uttar Pradesh government, as the bulk of shooting such films took place in UP. Consider the funds a return gift from the UP government’s side.

Uttar Pradesh’s film policy was framed in 2015, under the Akhilesh Yadav regime which aimed at providing incentives to Hindi filmmakers for shooting in the state. The Yogi Adityanath government in 2018 extended the policy to films shot in UP in any language, including English. The aim is to make UP a hub of film shooting.

Among the 22 films whose scripts have been approved by the Film Bandhu agency of UP are Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Raid’, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ and Sridevi’s ‘Mom’, latter two of which are now poised to receive an INR 2 crore grant.

What is shocking, however, is that those who have made it their lives’ mission to deride anything and everything minutely Hindu, or Indian, are the ones which will be recipients of financial funds, by none other than Yogi Adityanath’s government himself.

The same Yogi Adityanath, who is considered the devil incarnate by the folks he is about to financially award. Swara Bhaskar has missed no opportunity to spread distasteful propaganda on social media, and has even slyly at times, wanted to effect chaos on the streets of the country. Now, her film ‘Nil Battey Sannatta’ will be given 65 lakh rupees by the Yogi government, according to the ET report. A handsome share of which, we are guessing, will land right in Swara’s pockets. Last year, her film ‘Anarkali of Aarah’ was provided a financial grant worth over 43 lakh rupees by the Yogi government.

Anubhav Sinha is no less a Hinduphobe, who will now, unfortunately, feed upon the taxpayer money which the Yogi government is diverting into his pockets for his film ‘Article 15’. The man recently, in the backdrop of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ protests, asked the Hindus of India to kneel down and apologize to the minorities for supposed atrocities inflicted upon them. During the anti-CAA fabricated agitation, the man, defying all logic and sanity, was explicitly sympathetic to the false cause of protestors. Sinha misses no chance to indoctrinate the audiences with his vile ideology, which he purposely injects into his content.

Why then, is the Yogi government so enthusiastic about awarding such anti-India elements? The decision to award such illogical and rabid specimens with financial aid must be immediately revoked, and all such future action must be prevented. Such moves not only derail the collective cause of the nationalists but will, in the long run, prove to be detrimental to India’s security.
