‘He was hearing voices,’ Mahesh Bhatt tried to project Sushant Singh Rajput as a mentally unstable person

Disgusting

It has been barely two days since Sushant Singh Rajput took his own life in his flat in Bandra and the vultures of the Bollywood fraternity have already flocked together to tarnish the legacy of a man who was an intellectual, visionary and a science buff in addition to being an actor. Intellectual and science buff—terms you can barely relate with most of the A-listers of the industry.

The propaganda newspaper of Congress, National Herald, yesterday came up with a trash of an article that is entirely fabricated to project Sushant as a person who had no grip over his life. Projecting him as mentally unstable person which he definitely wasn’t is being deliberately done to blackface his accomplishments in the Nepotism-driven Bollywood industry.

Alia Bhatt’s father and director Mahesh Bhatt is now going around and dubbing Sushant as a Schizophrenic who was on a similar trajectory as Parveen Babi.

Bollywood critic Subhash K Jha wrote the disgusting article quoting one Suhrita Sengupta, who claims to be a close aide of Mahesh Bhatt. Sengupta had said that Mahesh Bhatt told Rhea, Sushant’s then girlfriend (not confirmed either), that his mental condition is just like that of Parveen Babi. Bhatt had even gone on to suggest Rhea to break up her relationship with Rajput.

Comparing someone’s depression to schizophrenia and suggesting someone’s girlfriend to break up with him shows how puerile and insensitive little creature is Mahesh Bhatt.

“There came a time when Sushant began hearing voices. He began to feel people were trying to kill him.” the article quoted the woman as saying. The article could not have been any more blasphemous. Saying he began hearing voices shows how far the industry will try to go ahead and absolve itself from the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput, which was murder in hindsight as the blood of it lays on the hands of the producers and bigwigs of Bollywood who tried everything possible to bring down the actor.

Interestingly Mahesh Bhatt is the father of Alia Bhatt who would not have been in the inner circles of Bollywood if it wasn’t for her father’s reach. Alia had ridiculed Sushant on the show Koffee with Karan too.

Moreover, there are rumours going around on social media that Mahesh Bhatt and Rhea Chakraborty were having an affair.

Mahesh Bhatt’s brother Mukesh Bhatt also gave an interview and parroted the similar lines to malign the image of Sushant Singh Rajput.

“I started my career way back with Parveen Babi, she was also a victim of schizophrenia. I remember telling my brother, that I am afraid he is also going the Parveen Babi way. I am not shocked, because I saw this coming,” said the other Bhatt sibling.

If Mukesh Bhatt saw it coming then why didn’t he help him and if he knew Sushant was depressed then why he isn’t answering the all-important question as to why he was depressed. Making frivolous statements and comparing his mental state to Parveen Babi who was also subjected to false rumours by the insiders of the industry shows that the industry does not even let a dead go away peacefully.

But this didn’t stop here. Bollywood’ Social Justice Warriors came together as what seems to be an elaborate bid to absolve themselves of the collective guilt.

And if there is some controversy and there is no Swara Bhasker in it, is it even possibly a controversy?

What happened with Sushant, what he was going through in the last few days leading up to the suicide, we may never know. The man was a science buff and he might be somewhere in an astral plane with his mum revelling in peace away from the chaos and hate of Bollywood which claims itself to be a family, but is a kettle of vultures instead.

Efforts are on an overdrive to dub him as crazy and mentally unstable to steer the conversation away from the topic that it was Bollywood that breeds such toxicity that a young gentlemen has to take his life under tremendous pressure. The blood is on the hands of Bollywood.

These articles and tweets prove that even the dead with no connections have no place in Bollywood.
