Pakistan’s State-owned industry of terrorism is booming like never before, and now a new route of Islamabad-backed terrorists into the European Continent has been discovered.
As per a latest ET report, the breakaway country of Bosnia & Herzegovina on the Balkans in South-eastern Europe is being used by Pakistan as the main entry point for illegal immigrants and terrorists to Europe. This has created fears of Pakistan-sponsored terror attacks in the Continent.
ET has reported that this new terror route came to picture after the Bosnian government recently summoned the Pakistani Ambassador in Sarajevo, the Capital of Bosnia. The Pakistani Ambassador was given a serious dressing down over the entry of two Pakistan-sponsored terrorists who entered as illegals.
According to Bosnian Security Minister Fahrudin Radoncic, the Pakistani Ambassador has refused to cooperate with Bosnia and get the fingerprints of the illegal immigrants checked with Bosnian authorities.
Islamabad is hiding their fingerprints, because it could reveal still gorier details. Even the two Pakistani terrorists were busted on the basis of their fingerprints.
In fact, Pakistan and Bosnia have been at loggerheads with each other. As per the Bosnian Security Ministry, there are currently more than 3,000 Pakistani illegals in the Muslim-majority country of Bosnia. According to Bosnia, Pakistan is not cooperating in identifying these Pakistani illegals who ought to be deported.
This just adds up to Islamabad’s global terror footprint. Tilak Devasher, the National Security Advisory Board (NSAB) and an expert author on Pakistan said, “Recent reports like the US State Dept country report indicting Pakistan on Terrorism, the report from Germany about Pakistan being one of the countries trying to illegally source nuclear material and from Bosnia about Pakistan not cooperating in identifying terrorists show a clear pattern. The pattern is that Pakistan continues to be a rogue state that refuses to live by international norms whether on terrorism or nuclear regimes. The international community must take notice of its transgressions. The icing on the cake of course has been Imran Khan’s assertion about Osama bin Laden being a martyr.”
Moreover, only last month a British media outlet had suggested that Pakistani illegals are using Bosnia and Herzegovina in Central Europe as a gateway to reach the European Union.
According to The Times, “The Bosnian border force claims that 3,000 Pakistani citizens have been fraudulently granted visas through the country’s embassy in Islamabad, enabling them to cut out a big part of the 4,000-mile people-smuggling route from Pakistan into Europe.”
The report added, “To reach Bosnia, Pakistani migrants would normally have to travel overland through Iran, Turkey, Greece, Albania and Macedonia in the hands of traffickers, spending weeks and thousands of pounds in the process and risking arrest, attacks by criminals and even death. With a visa, however, they can fly from Pakistan to Sarajevo, cross the border into Croatia, an EU member, and continue their journey north on the smuggling routes.”
Pakistan is ramping up its efforts to pave the way for entry of terrorists into the European Continent. In July last year, more than 2,0000 Pakistani illegals arrived in Bosnia which was a sharp rise over 1,000 illegals in June. The numbers dropped later.
The Times alleged, “The Bosnian state prosecutor has opened an investigation into the country’s embassy in Islamabad, while Fahrudin Radoncic, the security minister, has seized on the allegations as evidence of a “security threat”.”
Pakistan is using all its influence in Bosnia and Herzegovina to push its terror network into Europe. The Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Pakistan’s external intelligence agency that supports terror activities around the world was deeply involved in the Bosnian war in the 1990s.
Pakistan had of course pitched in with arms for the Bosnian Muslims in their strife against Serbs and Croatians. Later, Pakistan has time and again sought support from Bosnia over Article 370 abrogation. But no one really wants to stand up with a rogue State like the terror-sponsoring state of Pakistan. Bosnia has thus insulted Islamabad in a brutal way by launching a probe into the country’s embassy in Islamabad.
