JNUSU’s Communist President calls Muslims to take shelter in University

Aishe Ghosh, the president of JNU Students Union has shared a tweet, in which she said that the JNU campus and JNUSU office is open for those seeking shelter.

The poster, titled “unite against state-sponsored violence on Muslims” has called for volunteers to join the rescue team and said that anyone can seek shelter in JNU. She tagged leftist and Islamist like Rana Ayyub, Swara Bhasker, Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid and Shaheen Bagh officials in the tweet.

JNU, being a central university, is under the administration of the Modi government. The JNU administration is appointed by Union HRD minister. The Union government spends more than 3, 00 crore rupees per year on students and administration of JNU.

Whether someone can enter in the university or not is completely call of JNU administration, not of JNUSU or its president. But Aishe Ghosh, who is the leader of Student Federation of India- the student wing of Kerala is treating the university like personal property. As per her tweet, the student union of JNU is the owner of the university, not the union government.

Previously Ghosh raised question over the deployment of ex-armed forces personals, which is completely called of JNU administration. “The hiring happened in a very secretive manner… The administration knows that there is some kind of solidarity among workers, guards and the students, which is what the administration does not like,” said Aishe Ghosh, President of the JNU Students’ Union (JNUSU). “It thinks that a guard’s job is only to beat people up and restrict voices.”

JNU is among the few universities still dominated by the Left. The ideas of Marx- “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs”,  has been rejected by countries around the world. There is not a single country in the world, which has state ownership on all means of production.

But the walls of JNU are still painted in red and every evening, the campus echoes with- ‘Red Salute, Red Salute, Red Salute to Comrade’ slogan. The utopian idea of borderless, casteless, classless, gender-neutral still founds space on the posters pasted on the trees, bus stands, notice boards and walls of JNU.

The university is a ‘promised land’ to adherents of Communism. The extreme freedom of expression, ideas, clothing for which space around the world is shrinking can find space in the Promised Land.

The slogans like- Lal Salaam, We Shall Fight, We Shall Win, Brahmanvad Ho Barbaad, Bharat Tere Tukde Hoge Inshallah Inshallah, Kashmir kiAzaadi Se Bharat ki Barbaadi Tak Jang Rahegi Jang Rahegi could be heard only inside the boundary walls of JNU. Such extreme freedom for the ‘fringe voices’ has space only inside the boundary walls of JNU.
