A TMC Bengal leader doesn’t have any hands. He had two a day before. Both flew away while making bombs

TMC, bomb, hands

The Trinamool Congress’ limits of practising politics are still not defined, with the party continuously swinging from being a ruling party to an extremist militant group, to the extent that it facilitates the production of bombs to be hurled at its opponents both within the party ranks and at its other electoral rivals.

Mushtaq Sheikh, a local TMC leader from Birbhum district of West Bengal has now landed in a rather peculiar situation with no hands and an explosion to explain. The man has lost both his arms while carrying out his duties as a loyal worker of Mamata Didi, which were to plant a bomb along a canal to target a pro-CAA rally in the area.

The information regarding the intended target has been alleged as such by the BJP. The bomb was of high-intensity in nature (in accordance with Mamata Banerjee’s persona) and it led to a huge scare in the nearby village, the inhabitants of which fled the area in fear.

report regarding the same in Asianet Bangla also claims that dispatch of local TMC leaders arrived at the spot soon after to downplay and cover-up the ill-timed bomb blast, which has obviously landed the party in an unwanted position. Last year, three other soldiers of the TMC had lost their lives while making bombs to target a rival clan. Local residents had back then informed that the trio had assembled in an abandoned house, allegedly to make bombs and use them against a rival TMC clan over a dispute regarding the control of a riverside area of Jalangi, Murshidabad district in Bengal.

Clearly, the TMC has quite a number of bomb techies, aspiring Oppenheimers in their ranks, surprisingly, at the grass-root levels. This partly explains as to why the local populace in West Bengal is frightened to speak up against the ruling party. Who knows, given the TMC’s expertise in manufacturing bombs, such people would find themselves blown into pieces sooner than expected.

On a serious note, however, it is indeed surprising that such militant-like activities of the TMC are going unchecked, and even largely unreported. What kind of a political party allows its mere party workers to manufacture and plant dirty, crude bombs in the state? Creativity of all kinds is promoted in the state apparently. Ideally, the police should have acted against the top leadership of TMC for allowing its workers to deal with terror-like commodities, however, the police of the state is more than happy prostrating before Mamata Banerjee. In such a scenario, it becomes imperative upon the MHA and Amit Shah to take matters into their own hands and ensure the safety of the people of Bengal from a clearly mafia-militant TMC.
