The infamous JNU recently witnessed ugly scenes of violence as a group of masked goons ran riot in the university campus. An objective analysis of what transpired on the university campus revealed clear markings of leftist violence on the campus of the central university, followed by an attempt to shift the blame on the ABVP. It was actually the registration boycott initiated by the Left-ruled JNUSU that spiralled into intense violence at the central varsity. On January 3, a group of students in masks forcibly had entered the office of the Center for Information System, switched off the power supply, forcibly evicted all technical staff & made servers dysfunctional with the intent to not allow online registrations to take place.
JNU bore the brunt of widespread violence and vandalism, resulting in huge losses. Now, the JNU Registrar Pramod Kumar, has said, “There have been heavy losses on the campus due to the vandalism. Those students who were involved in the vandalism will be identified and losses will be recovered from them.” He added, “University is an open space. We would like to allow free movement on the campus. Let the security personnel investigate the matter. We don’t see students as two groups.”
The JNU Vice-Chancellor, Jagadesh Kumar has also made it clear that investigation into violence at the university is going on, and said, “JNU is known for debate and mad discussion. What happened on Sunday was painful for all of us. The situation was brought under control after we called the police. Police are investigating if the attackers came from inside or outside and facts will come out.” He also made it clear that the registration process will restart now. He said, “A large number of students want to continue with the semester. The registration process will start again from Tuesday in a peaceful manner.”
The JNU has traditionally emerged as the stronghold of the leftist cabal. Their strong sense of entitlement makes them believe that they can do about anything on the university campus. But this false belief of the comrades at the JNU is now all set to be demolished as the administration is all set to make them pay up for the violence and vandalism that they had clearly orchestrated at the university by the leftist miscreants. The administration has also given a clear message that notwithstanding the violent opposition to the JNU, the registration process will start again in a peaceful manner. The university administration is thus going to ensure that nefarious elements at the university will be made to fall in line.
