The driver, the hero – How a bus driver saved a bus full of school kids from being burnt by Seelampur attackers

Salute!

Seelampur school bus

The recent protests against CAA took a terrible turn for the worse, when the hooligans in Delhi’s Seelampur area vandalized many buses, and even set some on fire in the name of protesting against CAA. Meanwhile, a school bus carrying some innocent children was also stoned at. Had the driver had not shown courage, only God knows what would have happened to those children.

According to a video that went viral on social media, a school bus was also stuck in the crowd. In such a situation, the bus driver acted wisely and he quickly called the parents of the last child remaining in the bus a few meters before the designated place and handed over the child to them. After this, the protesters also pelted stones on this bus.

Confirming the incident, Chandrashekhar, who happens to be the transport manager of Arvachin Bharati Bhagwan Senior Secondary School, located in Vivek Vihar, said that “the bus had 25-30 students who were to be dropped off at Seelampur and Jafrabad. However, there was only one student in the bus when a stone hit the mirror of the bus. At the same time, 21 students were stuck in their school in Zafarabad for about two hours during violent demonstrations in the area on Tuesday.”

The official further said, “Heavy stone pelting occurred near the school, and consequently the school gate was closed for the safety of the students. 200 students study in this school but due to the protest in the city only 21 students came on Tuesday. After the parents of the children reached the school, they were taken out of the back door.”

The stone was thrown from a house in Zafarabad. At this the driver realized that the situation could be tense and he called the parents of the only student remaining in the bus. He said the bus was a few metres from where the student was supposed to leave but the driver called his parents and called before the scheduled stop. Chandrashekhar said that after the parents handed over the child safely, the driver took the U-turn to take the bus to Vivek Vihar but the bus got stuck between the protesters and the protesters threw stones at it, breaking the glass of the bus.

Now if the driver had not shown some maturity, imagine the plight of those innocent children? Interestingly, our left-wing brigade has been dead silent at this incident.

Last year, when stones were thrown at a school bus in Gurugram a few days before the release of the controversial Padmavat, the same Liberal gang were ready to name and shame. the Rajputs as well as the entire Hindu community. Celebrities like Farhan Akhtar had literally labeled the attackers as terrorists, even when it turned out that the attackers were not from the community he intended to name and shame.

Now when a similar incident has occurred in Seelampur, the liberal intelligentsia went blank. If the vandals were peaceful protesters, then even Usain Bolt sings better than Freddie Mercury for all we care. Probably PM Modi remembered the same as he once said rightly, “Hypocrisy has its limits.”
