Seasonal Deshbhakt, closet Hindu hater, Akshay Kumar is a top class hypocrite

He made the best out of Bhakt’s gullibility

Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar – a name which invites accolades as well as abuses at the same time. For some, he is action king aka ‘Khiladi Kumar’, while for others he is simply a fickle-minded opportunist or ‘Canadian Kumar’.

However, Akshay Kumar is in the news not primarily for his choice of movies, but his activities over the social media. On one hand, he has been hounded by the leftists for not condemning the alleged brutality of Delhi police against the anti CAA protesters, and on the other hand, he has been massively criticized for an objectionable dialogue in the 2nd trailer of his upcoming project ‘Good Newwz’.

In the second trailer of ‘Good Newz’, Akshay Kumar says a dialogue that is extremely objectionable in all aspects. One character in the movie says, “My nana’s name was Ram and my child was born on Holi, which is why his name was kept Hola Ram.” To this, Akshay Kumar replies, ‘Thank god he wasn’t on Lohri, otherwise his name…..”

For this objectionable dialogue, Akshay has been trolled left, right and centre, and for a while, #AkshayAbusesLordRama was trending on Twitter. To quote an example, a user wrote on Twitter, “A man coming from foreign country makes fun of our God Sri Ram and some Indians still support him and idolize him. Once a womaniser always a womaniser, he can never respect anyone, he’s here for money and gains only. Shame!”

Another user shared a photo meme and remarked, “We were breeding a snake in our home. He abuses Bhagwan Ram, and then he mocks a Sikh festival and even pronounces the festival name wrongly.”

However, we forget that Akshay Kumar is nothing more than a glorified opportunist. He is a PhD gold medalist from the school of seasonal nationalism, where John Abraham has recently taken admission as of now. Ever since NDA assumed power again in 2014, Akshay Kumar seemed to have undergone a sea change in terms of choosing his projects, and he began focusing on movies with a nationalist approach.

With movies like Holiday, Baby, Gabbar is Back, Airlift, Rustom, Jolly LLB 2, Naam Shabana, Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Padman, Gold, Mission Mangal, Kesari etc., Akshay Kumar projected himself as a diehard nationalist, and his future project doesn’t seem to change much. In 2020, while he’ll present himself as a hardened police officer in ‘Sooryavanshi’, he will also portray the role of the legendary warrior, Prithviraj Chauhan in the upcoming biopic ‘Prithviraj’.

However, Akshay’s profile wasn’t so before 2014. He is the same person who used to act in offensive, double meaning comedies like, ‘Garam Masala’, ‘Heyy Babyy’, ‘Desi Boyz’, ‘Housefull 2’. What Akshay and John did in ‘Desi Boyz’ and ‘Garam Masala’ is far from worth being called as a sensible comedy.

However, the offensive dialogue in ‘Good Newwz’ is not the first case where Akshay has been accused of insulting Sanatan Dharma. One Twitter user exposed Akshay’s objectionable steps in a song in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, even went on to say, “This is not a new thing for this Canadian Molester. He has been disrespecting Gods and our culture since long. Shame on 3rd class stars like you. Just for movie business you’re mocking Lord Rama, like really?”

On CAA, where an entire section of Bollywood is opposing the act, Akshay Kumar should’ve at least published a tweet or social media post like Vicky Kaushal, like Pankaj Tripathi, where neither of them took sides, however, he refrained from doing so. Akshay Kumar initially liked an inflammatory post, and later retracted from the same him, saying that he does not support any such Act. Only Akshay can be as this opportunistic.
